[INDONESIA] A Memorable Night for Indonesian Pauljjaks at ‘The Present Show’ with AHN HYO SEOP

The versatile actor enjoyed the present moment with Indonesian fans at <THE PRESENT SHOW IN JAKARTA> ‘here and now’ which was held on September 9, 2023 at The Kasablanka Hall!

Known for his portrayal as Kang Tae Moo in Business Proposal (2022), AHN HYO SEOP made his first-ever visit to Indonesia which made everything even more exciting both for the fans and the actor himself! To get the show going, he greeted the audience with his melodious voice singing John Park‘s I’m Your Man.

Following that, it was time for a catch-up session with the Dr. Romantic actor. When asked what he usually does to kill time on his phone, he said that since his newest drama, A Time Called You (2023) has just dropped, he has been spending the day watching the drama. He even recommended the fans to binge-watch it all in one go, which fans definitely agreed on!

An endearing moment happened when AHN HYO SEOP found out that Indonesian Pauljjaks have a special nickname for him, Mas Ucup. Mas in Indonesian is used to address an older brother or an older gentleman and Ucup is a pun for his name, Hyo Seop in a cuter tone. He even tried pronouncing the name himself by saying, “Saya Mas Ucup!” (I’m Mas Ucup) to which the fans reacted excitedly.

Next up, it was time to vibe with AHN HYO SEOP to Taeyang‘s Vibe! In the VCR, he showed the hard work of hours and hours of practice that he dedicated to learning this dance, and safe to say that his hard work paid off as everyone is grooving along with him.

It would not be a fun night without some missions. During this session, AHN HYO SEOP had to do some challenges like rapid-fire questions, a 10-second emoji challenge, and so on. Because he won, a couple of fans got to win some prizes, including signed merchandises and a polaroid photo with the talented actor.

It was definitely not enough to only hear his beautiful voice once. Thankfully, he then continued the show with a beautiful rendition of Eric Benét‘s Still With You. Everyone is undoubtedly captivated and mesmerised by this performance.

Soon after, it was time for the fans to give some love back to AHN HYO SEOP through a lovely fanmade video, capturing his journey as an actor as well as sending him some warm wishes which led the actor to be teary-eyed at the end.

But the unforgettable night did not stop there! He then brought up a keyboard on set to play a couple of tunes for the fans. Although he said he was nervous at first, he continued on with a performance of Yiruma‘s River Flows In You.

The night ended with a couple more performances, including George Benson‘s Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You. Although the show had to end, Pauljjaks’ love for AHN HYO SEOP grew even stronger!
