[UNITED KINGDOM] MONSTA X & British MONBEBEs Had A Blast At Hammersmith Apollo

MONSTA X once again rocked the stage partying away with MONBEBEs in London as they visited the city for the second time as part of their 2018 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR “THE CONNECT”!

They wasted no time as they began the show with such high energy and charisma as they performed hits such as ‘Jealousy’, ‘Be Quiet’ and ‘Beautiful’.  The members took their time to express their gratitude to their supportive fanbase and the opportunity to perform in London once again this year in between swift outfit changes. Whilst mentioning things that reminded them of London most and their interest in landmarks, the Harry Potter franchise and Brit-pop artists they adore, the audience connected with the boys over pop culture in United Kingdom.

Midway through the concert, WonhoMinhyuk and Kihyun began the series of special stages with a performance of Wonho’s self-produced unreleased song – an adorable bubblegum pop song strongly influenced by the tropical house genre.

Continuing the performances, Jooheon and leader Shownu displayed a more sensual and charming image with their own rendition of  the hit song ‘Versace On The Floor‘ (original by Bruno Mars).

Hyungwon and I.M performed a combination of two stages – their version of ‘Fake Love‘ (original by Drake) as well as a spectacular dance performance of ‘How Long‘ (original by Charlie Puth). The boys then talked a little bit about their performances with MONBEBEs and mimicked their favourite parts of each other’s performances.

The effort put in by MONBEBEs for the concert alone was remarkable. Whilst some fans camped out for several days to secure a good position inside the venue, other MONBEBEs had diligently organised fan projects such as banners for everyone to collectively hold during the performance of  the song  ‘White Love‘, a sweet and warm serenade from the boys.

It was truly a sight to see a versatile group such as MONSTA X giving their all and having fun on stage as they showcased their raw talents and teamwork to perfect their performances for their eager fans! The boys ended the concert with a bang as they performed the rock version of ‘Trespass’, ‘Dramarama’ and an encore of ‘Falling’ to finally bid their goodbyes. It was definitely a night to remember with memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of MONBEBEs!

It truly was an amazing event and The Seoul Story would like to express our thanks to MyMusicTaste for allowing us to be a part of it! 🙂
