[SINGAPORE] The One and Only B.I Returns For ‘L.O.L THE HIDDEN STAGE’

B.I made his return to sunny island Singapore seven months after his solo fanmeeting in August last year. It was another unforgettable night for Singapore IDs as B.I showed great showmanship and finally got to listen to the songs from his from his latest release, the studio album Love or Loved Part.1.

The concert started with a bang with BTBT and continued with a medley of his top hits from B.I’s earlier days in the entertainment industry. Breaking away from the norms of introducing himself formally, B.I made his presence known with Be I and One and Only, the two songs that embody his identity as the singer, rapper, songwriter and producer B.I.

Although it has not been long since his last visit to Singapore, B.I shared that he was looking forward to return as he had missed the fervent support that Singapore IDs displayed whenever he was in town. As B.I took a break from a series of performances to speak with fans, he requested that everyone stay safe while enjoying the concert. IDs were given the permission to take pictures and videos, as long as they enjoy themselves.

While it has been common for artistes to be physically closer with fans, B.I took a step further to walk around the concert hall. He appeared comfortable and seemingly trusted his fans as he roamed the concert hall without a security guard; all he requested was for a path that he could walk and for fans to make way and not crowd him so that everyone gets an equal chance to see him upclose.

The Singapore stop was extra special for IDs as B.I invited a guest artiste, Reddy, to perform an unreleased track with him. Not just once but several times, IDs were given a teaser to B.I’s upcoming works to get everyone excited for his upcoming releases. B.I made fans promise not to upload any clips on social media, as it was a special gift only for concert-goers.

Throughout the concert, B.I changed his outfit a few times but all of them were kept simple. As a solo artiste who is involved in the writing and producing of his own songs, it was evident that B.I poured his heart into ensuring that the performance was perfect, without the need for further embellishments to his outfit nor stage.

As the concert came to a close, Singapore IDs prepared a special video for him to thank him for making music that gave colour to their lives. B.I shared words of gratitude to his fans, not just from Singapore but many who came from all over the world, for taking time out to watch him perform. The concert ended on a high as everyone was up on their feet and their Binbong high up in the air, grooving to Cosmos.
