[SINGAPORE] DPR Brings THE REGIME TOUR To The Coliseum

The DPR gang made waves last Sunday in Singapore at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel, where throngs of DREAMers (DPR’s fandom name) finally got to meet the talented bunch in person. DPR, short for Dream Perfect Regime, is a group of multi-talented musicians who have been making their way around the world this year.

While they have existed for quite a while, it was only recently that the group decided to go on a tour to meet their fans. Singapore DREAMers are lucky to have the group perform here after so many years of waiting. The main performers for the event were DPR Cream, DPR Live and DPR Ian. The venue was packed with fans on that day, all excited at the thought of meeting DPR in the flesh. The air was buzzing with anticipation from the start.

Starting Off with a Bang!

DPR Cream opened the show after billboard uwu ended, looking all mysterious with his sunglasses on. It was a divine experience as Cream played one song after another on his equipment. It was amazing to see the crowd moving to the beat of his music, and the concert was only just beginning!

There were good vibes all around as fans grooved to Cream’s skilled DJ set. It was a pity that it had to come to an end as Cream finished his set with Problems. There was just something about the entire stage which made everyone feel relaxed yet at the same time, eager for more.

Of Cute Props and Sexy Body Rolls

The lithe and suave DPR Live had the audience going crazy as he started strong with Legacy. Everyone was singing along and hyping Live up towards the crescendo. When he sang Neon next, a giant inflatable astronaut accompanied him on the stage. It was a whimsical sight for fans.

There were also other adorable props brought out during the other performances. Pink pom poms could be seen during Yellow Cab, while inflatable doughnut floats were thrown into the crowd during Hula Hoops.

However, it was an entirely different atmosphere when Live sang Cheese & Wine. Sweat dripping all over his face while he bears the brunt of the humid air, Live busted out his sexiest dance moves on the floor. Laputa and Venus were the next songs played as DREAMers tried not to melt into puddles of goo while listening to Live’s husky voice.

Live also performed other songs such as Thirst, Know Me, Kiss Me, Jam & Butterfly, and Martini Blue. His set would not have been complete without everyone singing along during Jasmine! It was also another surprise for fans as DPR Cline joined in during Set It Off and went hard during his rap verse.

Singing with Soul

DPR Ian made his entrance on the stage with MITO, building up the anticipation for his next songs. It was all about the sleek moves as Ian continued with So Beautiful, his melodious voice permeating the night air especially during the chorus. The other few songs he performed were Mood, Dope Lovers, Miss Understood, Avalon, Calico and 1 Shot. He donned a black cowboy hat during Calico, getting hearts racing as he sang of losing his own in a ghost town.

Ian even sang a birthday song for a lucky DREAMer who managed to catch his attention! It was so sweet and thoughtful of him.

One of the most memorable performances of the night was Winterfall, where Ian knelt and had ‘snow’ fall all around him during the part where the beat dropped. It was an ethereal experience, as DREAMers stood in awe of the beautiful view in front of them. That, combined with Ian’s falsetto note during that particular part, had everyone stunned. Ballroom Extravaganza was another song which had fans excited as everyone let go and let their inner emo kid take control of their bodies. And of course, no one can forget No Blueberries! DPR Live got back on the stage for the performance, his boundless energy making the crowd sing out louder than ever.

However, both the DPR members disappeared from the stage after the performance. Fans were confused because they could not believe that they had just seen the last performance. However, DREAMers all rallied together to chant “DPR, we gang gang!” repeatedly. It was a strong chant which eventually pulled the DPR gang back on the stage with To Myself! There was no better way to end the show! It was as if they were saying that it may be the end of the show, nut it is just the beginning of DPR’s journey!

We would like to thank CK Star Entertainment Singapore for the media accreditation, and congratulations on the successful event. It was an unforgettable night and we hope that DPR will come down to our sunny island again soon!
