[SINGAPORE] An Epic Evening with Epik High

Epik High was back in Singapore once again for Epik High Is Here – Singapore concert; kicking off with Singapore as the first stop of their Asia-Pacific Tour. The sold-out concert was held on July 9 at the Marina Bay Sands, Sands Grand Ballroom. Being the legend of K-Hip Hop, many fans from all walks of life came to jam away with Epik High.

The trio opened the stage with Here and Prequel, getting the crowd ready on their feet with their hands in the air. The seated concert eventually turned into a standing concert as if it was an exclusive club held only for the High Skools! The whole ballroom was on fire as they continued with the all time favourite Fly, getting the cheering crowd jumping enthusiastically.

Following with songs such as Face ID, Rosario, In Self-Defense, and Burj Khalifa, the crowd never stopped partying!

A Gesture of Comfort From Tablo

During the opening segment, Tablo asked the fans to give themselves a round of applause and a pat on their shoulders because they survived the pandemic for the last two years. He also hoped that everyone would not need to wear masks the next time they return to Singapore.

Tablo shouted “You guys are super rare!” as they continued the evening with their next song Super Rare followed by Eternal Sunshine and Bleed. Epik High then filled the room with love as the crowd sang along with them to Love Love Love.

DJ Tukutz’s Dance Party!

One of the biggest highlights of the night was witnessing DJ Tukutz dancing! He started One with his unique dance moves followed by Fan with their greatest dance as a trio as they turned the stage into a dance floor.

After saying goodbye to Singapore, Epik High got the crowd to chant “High high high, technology” before dropping the beat to High Technology. They continued with New Beautiful, following onto their last song Don’t Hate Me as fans sang along. It was indeed an exclusive club for High Skool.

Like A Family

The fans then chanted “Encore!” enthusiastically with their smartphone flashlights switched on for the trio to be back on stage for the encore. It was an amazing sight to see how united the fans were, just like a family. Epik High then granted the fans’ request for an encore with NO THANXXX. Epik High wrapped the show up with the legendary BORN HATER before throwing a signed T-shirt into the crowd!

It was indeed an “epik” evening filled with fun and laughter, and fans who attended the show definitely made precious memories from the night.
