[SINGAPORE] A Fun K-pop Night Out At The 2018 Stargram Official Launch Concert with B1A4, JBJ, EXID & More

In celebration of the official launch of the Stargram Coin, Stargram Global had given out over 5,000 free tickets to K-Pop fans in Singapore. It was a night filled with joy and laughter. Fans were able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and enjoy watching their favourite artists perform live in the flesh. It was an opportunity not to be missed, especially for those who have never before seen their favourite K-Pop acts live in person!

Electrifying the crowd with energetic performances
JBJ were the ones to open the show, bringing about a huge round of applause, and eliciting thunderous cheers from the crowd as they appeared on the stage. The six charming boys of JBJ had recently visited Singapore, but dropped by once again on Wednesday with more new songs to perform! Aside from “Fantasy” and “Everyday”, JBJ ended their stage with a magnificent performance of “My Flower”, their comeback title track which had earned them their very first music show win. Their sleek dance moves and beautiful voices captured the audience, as they hyped everyone up as the first act of the night.

Of course, there were more to come!

An electric violinist who had performed alongside Michael Jackson back in his heyday, Korean-American Eugene Park takes the stage with his electronic take on classical music. Everyone was blown away by the sheer uniqueness and skill displayed by the musician, who had them by the fiddle.

Optical Crew were up next, surprising the audience as they suddenly emerged in the dark all clad in their bright LED suits. Everyone was amazed by the way the LED lights on the dancers’ costumes changed every so often to accommodate their various dance moves. No steps were missed at all! And if you think that was the end, you are wrong! The talented dancers also danced to BTS’ “Fire”  and TWICE’s “Likey”, which made everyone go wild!

Their Avengers themed performance resonated with the crowd, especially Marvel fans, who were thrilled to see their favourite superheroes in the dark!

Basking in the contrasting acts of EXID & Kwak Dong Hyun
And who can forget the queens? The emcee had the crowd raring to go as he performed a short, albeit funny, rendition of  “Up & Down”. The four beautiful ladies of EXID gave their all, getting fans to sing along as they performed to hits such as “DDD”“Ah Yeah” and last but not least, “Up & Down”!

EXID said that it had been a long time since they had all last come to Singapore, and that they missed their fans and were so happy to see their fans again! They promised to visit again soon 🙂

Kwak Dong Hyun took the stage next, who once appeared on the TV show “Masked Singer”  last year. He successfully captivated fans when he started singing Radiohead’s “Creep”, his soulful voice getting everyone to sing along with him. The event hall suddenly turned brighter, as fans switched on the flashlight on their phones and started waving their phones in the air to show their support. His powerful vocals had gained him a lot of new fans that night!

No, it’s not a lie. B1A4 is back in town!
Finally comes the act everyone had been anticipating since the start of the show, and who else if not B1A4? The five boys of B1A4 had fans shrieking from every corner of the stadium. Their official lightsticks were being waved in the air to greet them, as B1A4 kicked off their stage with “What’s Happening?. The other songs they performed were “Rollin'”, “A Lie” and the all-time fan favourite “Baby Goodnight”.

It had been four years since B1A4 last came to Singapore, and the air of nostalgia they brought along with them to that concert had BANAs (B1A4’s official fanclub name) feeling emotional. Jinyoung felt sorry because he had to remain seated for the dance performances. In the end, he still made the effort to join the rest of the members towards the end of the concert even though he was limping. We wish Jinyoung a very speedy recovery!

B1A4 closed the show with “Good Timing”, where fans got up and off their seats to move to the front for a better view of the boys. They said that they love BANAs and to wait for them as they will return soon!

We would like to thank Stargram Global for the media accreditation and to wish them all the best in their future endeavours. 🙂
