[PHILIPPINES] Park Eun Bin Spent a Magical Night With Filipino BINGOs at Her Aromagicare Fan Meet

Eight months after her first solo fan meeting in Manila, Park Eun Bin reunited with her Filipino BINGOs last June 24, 2023 at the New Frontier Theater. The award-winning actress’ latest fan meeting was held in collaboration with Filipino-owned health and wellness brand Aromagicare.

Clad in a stunning pink off-shoulder dress, Eun Bin kicked off her fan meeting with an adorable cover of FIFTY FIFTY’s Cupid. The viral hit got BINGOs in attendance singing along and waving their lightsticks, with some even joining Eun Bin in doing the choreography.

“Na-miss ko kayo! (I’ve missed you!)” Eun Bin told her beloved fans after her opening performance. This was only one of the many Tagalog phrases she learnt for the event, showing how much she prepared for her Filipino BINGOs.

After formally introducing herself, Eun Bin was joined by emcee Denise Laurel to begin the interview segment of the fan meeting.

When asked about what the best part of being an actress was, Eun Bin answered that it was international fans’ love. She also shared that early in the early stages of her career, she was overwhelmed by the amount of love she received as she is inherently shy. Eventually, she learnt how to overcome this and to use it as motivation instead.

Having debuted as an actress at the tender age of five, Eun Bin boasts an impressive filmography under her belt that spans two and a half decades. She has tried a lot of different characters in the past, so it was difficult for her to answer which role she would like to try out next.

“What would you guys suggest?” Eun Bin asked, turning to BINGOs for help.

A lot of fans’ answers were similar, with ‘doctor’ and ‘idol’ being the most popular. “I’ll do my best [to try out those roles],” Eun Bin said. “What you want is also what I want, so I will take note of your suggestions!”

We might be seeing idol Eun Bin sooner rather than later, though, as the actress mentioned that she’s practising her singing because of an upcoming project. Another spoiler that she shared: there’s a scene in it where she plays the guitar!

It would be safe to assume that the project she was talking about is tvN’s upcoming drama Diva of the Deserted Island (literal title) that’s set to air in the second half of this year. The series is reported to be a romantic comedy that revolves around an aspiring singer who gets stranded on an uninhabited island while en route to Seoul for an audition.

Eun Bin was confirmed to star in the drama in February, followed by Chae Jong Hyeop and Cha Hak Yeon. The drama will be helmed by writer Park Hye Run and production director Oh Choong Hwa, both of whom previously worked on Start Up (2020) and While You Were Sleeping (2017).

Eun Bin brought out her A-game in the second half of the fan meeting as she played with fans and gifted the winners with custom-made prizes that she created herself! Some of her gifts included a flower arrangement, a painted tote bag, and a personalised bracelet, among others.

This segment definitely proved that Eun Bin is a multi-talented ace as she not only showcased her creative side with her handcrafted gifts, but also her competitive side by flawlessly completing the mini challenges. She even busted out some dance moves with BLACKPINK’s Shut Down and IVE’s After Like!

To show their heartfelt appreciation for Eun Bin, Filipino BINGOs prepared a touching VCR showing a timeline of her career from her beginnings as a child star to being the daesang-winning actress that she is today.

Eun Bin shared that she already cried her eyes out during her first fan meeting in Manila, so she tried her very best to hold it in this time around. Instead, she simply wanted to celebrate the milestones she’s achieved with BINGOs and the chance to be with everyone again.

“Salamat sa pagpunta! (Thank you all for coming!)” Eun Bin told her fans as she bid farewell. To end her fan meeting on a high note, she performed a cover of Especially For You by Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue, popularised in the Philippines by acoustic band MYMP.

At the beginning of the fan meeting, Eun Bin emphasised that her primary goal for her second visit to Manila was to create unforgettable memories with her fans. And indeed, Filipino BINGOs definitely brought home memories they’ll remember for a long time.

The Seoul Story would like to thank Aromagicare and Wilbros Live for extending us a media invite! We hope to see Park Eun Bin in Manila again soon. 🙂
