[PHILIPPINES] K-pop group MCND kicks off their first-ever Asia tour in Manila

MCND is a five-member South Korean boy group that was formed by the company, TOP Media. The group’s name means Music Creates New Dreams. The group debuted on February 27, 2020 with their debut song, Ice Age. They made their recent comeback last July with the song #MOOD.

The group recently completed its Europe and America tour which started around April this year. They kicked off their Asian tour with Manila as their first stop!

The concert started with their title song #MOOD. Their Filipino fans were thrilled and happy to be able to finally see the group here in Manila! They were shouting their hearts out for the boys who were performing on stage. Right after their first song, the group then performed their songs MOVIN, Top Gang, Reason, Bumpin., Spring, and Breathe.

“We love your energy,” said MCND. Filipino GEMs are really on another level! They said they have tried Filipino food like Bibingka and Lechon Kawali! After their short ment, they performed the Filipino song, Dahil Sa’Yo, which they actually spoiled on VLive! According to Win, the group has been busy with their album and tour this 2022.

After a short video, MCND performed various dances from the game they had previously played. They performed songs like BLACKPINK’s DDU-DU DDU-DU, NewJeansHype Boy, EXO’s Tempo, and aespa’s Savage.

For the next song, the group performed Back To You. Little did they know, their Filipino fans prepared a surprise video for them that played on the screen while they were singing. They couldn’t concentrate on their performance because they were all watching the video.  “We really did not know about this,” said Win. The group’s leader, Castle J, got emotional after watching the video. After thanking all their fans, the group then performed the song again.

To change the mood of the concert, they sang Louder, Hey You, nanana, Galaxy, Play Pungak, and H.B.C.  After a short video, MCND went back on stage with their debut song, Ice Age.

After singing their songs Ice Age and Juice, they thanked their fans who came for their first-ever concert here in Manila. Shortly after, they performed their last 4 songs – W.A.T.1, Outro, Not Over, and Crush!

MCND performed a total of 22 songs for their first concert here in Manila and they did not disappoint! Both MCND and their Filipino Gems gave each other a memory worth remembering!
