[MALAYSIA] K-Pop Fans Show Out for SEEN Festival in Kuala Lumpur 2023

The first-ever SEEN FESTIVAL in Kuala Lumpur 2023 held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 saw fans turned up to party with K-pop groups NCT DREAM, WayV, KARD and ALICE.

The SEEN Festival Comes to Life

The first major K-pop festival of the year finally took place at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur last Saturday, featuring a T-shaped stage, allowing the crowd, especially those who was at the SEEN ZONE or the standing area, to have an all-round, close-up view of their favourite idols.


Girl Power


The concert started at 6:00 PM local time, with a total of 5,000 strong crowd screaming enthusiastically as Malaysian pop quartet, DOLLA opened up the SEEN Festival stage with their hit singles Impikan (Watch Me Glow), BAD and Dolla Make You Wanna.




The girl power craze continues with a 7-member girl group ALICE, who graced the stage after with their dazzling all-white outfit. The girls performed their singles such as JACKPOT, Summer Dream and DANCE ON!




It is ALICE’s first Malaysia debut performance, and yet ALICE felt right at home, interacting with fans actively at the extended stage throughout their performance!




We Have the Right KARD

Four-member co-ed group KARD graced the stage next, and they lit up the stage with their electrifying performances of singles such as Ring The Alarm, Oh NaNa and Dumb Litty.



They utilised the extended stage effectively by interacting with the fans. The members even used fans’ mobile phones to take a selfie. KARD showed that they were able to party with the crowd with some water splashes during their Bomb Bomb performance!




WayV Has Arrived


A green wave of NCT fan lightsticks welcomed WayV to the stage as the NCT sub-unit performs in Malaysia for the very first time! They brought the heat to the stage with their string of hit songs, which are Love Talk, Broken Love and their recent comeback track Phantom.


Yo DREAM! NCT DREAM is Here

The Meumwonbong continues to shine throughout the arena as NCT DREAM appears on the stage as the final performer of the night. They breezed through their hits such as Hot Sauce, Hello Future, and their latest comeback track, Candy for the night.



They interacted with the fans throughout the arena by teaching them the point dance of Glitch Mode during intervals. The boys even took this chance to sing a Happy Birthday song in advance to their member Jisung, and took the fans by surprise when they announced that they will be coming back to Malaysia for their world tour THE DREAM SHOW 2: IN A DREAM!




Overall, all of the fans were definitely over the moon as they were able to see and be seen by their favourite idols at SEEN Festival in Kuala Lumpur 2023.
