CHA EUN WOO RETURNS FOR A FANMEET

After five years, Eun Woo finally returned to Kuala Lumpur for his second fanmeet where he showcased his all-rounded abilities to Malaysian Arohas. It was also known that Eun Woo was no stranger to Malaysia as he often came here for brand promotions such as the recent Skechers opening at The Exchange TRX.

As soon as the fanmeet started, he made a powerful entrance by covering the iconic 10 Minutes which was originally sung by famous Korean singer, Lee Hyori. Then, he continued to stun the audience by performing F*cking Great Time from his first solo debut album which received lots of cheers. Eun Woo even learned a Malay sentence to woo Arohas from the emcee of the event which was, “Jom kahwin (Let’s get married),’ while holding a ring box during one of the segments.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON

The stadium was filled with flashlights coming from every Arohas’ phone as they swayed along to Eun Woo’s Stay, a heart wrenching ballad from his album. Furthermore, Eun Woo’s surprise for Arohas did not stop there as he prepared a special cover of As Long As You Love Me by Backstreet Boys which filled the nostalgic air in the crowd as everyone sang along to the hit 90s song.

Lucky Arohas were also chosen to pose for a selfie with Eun Woo on screen while the crowd cheered. As the time went by, the emcee asked Eun Woo regarding the meaning behind his Just One 10 Minutes fanmeet and he embarrassingly explained, “It means I can capture Arohas’ hearts in just ten minutes.”

Eun Woo went on to perform First Love, a dreamy’ solo song from ASTRO’s Drive To The Starry Road album. He also included a medley of ASTRO’s songs that he danced to such as, You Blow, Knock, Candy Sugar Pop and Crazy Sexy Cool with his smooth moves. As the fanmeet went on, Eun Woo hyped the crowd with ‘fun and lively’ genre songs such as, Jealousy and Alone With You as he walked to every corner of the stage, interacting with Arohas. This was a chance for Arohas to capture Eun Woo having fun on stage to be kept for memories.

Moments later, Eun Woo came back on stage wearing a dazzling black suit where the spotlights were shining on him as he sang to Sailing. Before he performed the next song, Memories, he felt emotional and expressed his feelings to Arohas, “Let’s keep this moment as our memories.”

ENCORE AND FAN PROJECT

As the stage turned pitch black, Malaysian Arohas screamed for an encore while waving their Ro-Bongs. As the screams got louder, Eun Woo returned on stage as he sang You’re The Best and proceeded to take a group photo with Arohas before he ended the fanmeet.

Surprisingly, Malaysian Arohas had prepared a fan project for Eun Woo which included footage of dramas he starred in, his idol debut, his emcee moments as well as ASTRO’s group moments from their first win to their current success for their 8th anniversary. As he turned from the big screen to the crowd, Malaysian Arohas had a slogan held up written, “Through your tough days, we will embrace our Eunwoo tight as always.”

Eun Woo’s eyes were filled with tears as he felt overwhelmed and thanked Arohas for supporting him throughout the years. To end the fanmeet with sweet memories, he sang Love So Fine with Arohas in mind as he waved goodbye.

Right back at Eun Woo because Arohas will forever have him in their hearts and eyes.
