[INDONESIA] Villains are Down So ‘Freakin Bad’ for Xdinary Heroes at ‘Break the Brake’ World Tour in Jakarta

Xdinary Heroes officially kicked off their first ever world tour, <Break the Brake>, in November 2023. After completing their Seoul and Europe stops, the boys finally made their way back to Asia with Jakarta as the first stop.

Here is the full recap of the spectacular night we had with Xdinary Heroes at their <Break the Brake> World Tour in Jakarta on March 2, 2024 at The Kasablanka Hall. We surely were down for them so Freakin’ Bad!

Pumped Up with Good Energy Right From the Start

As soon as the lights dimmed, the crowd erupted into cheers, welcoming the six members of Xdinary Heroes onto the stage. With anticipation running high, the concert kicked off with a series of energetic performances, including Freddy, Come into my head, and KNOCK DOWN.

Each member showcased their unrivaled skills in playing their respective musical instruments with Gunil as the drummer, Jungsu as the keyboardist, Gaon as the rhythm guitarist, O.de as the synthesizer, Junhan as the lead guitarist, and Jooyeon as the bassist of the group. They also treated the fans to performances of checkmate and Test Me before greeting Indonesian Villains for the very first time.

Leader Gunil also shared that the meaning behind the <Brake to Brake> tour title is for Xdinary Heroes to surpass all limits, implying their unspoken desire to showcase the best version of themselves. After the brief talk, they continued the show with fan-favorite tracks such as Hair Cut, Enemy, Man in the Box, and Ghost, which had the fans even more pumped up for the night!

The Ballad Corner and Tribute to Fellow JYP Artists

After igniting the stage with a series of high-energy performances, Xdinary Heroes shifted gears to a calmer vibe, treating the audience to heartfelt ballads like Dear.H, Good Enough, and Paranoid.

However, the tranquil atmosphere was soon disrupted as Xdinary Heroes surprised fans with an unexpected twist, performing covers of Hellevator by Stray Kids and Shoot Me by DAY6 as a tribute to their seniors and fellow JYP artists. The crowd burst into enthusiastic cheers, and this segment of the show instantly turned into the most exciting sing-along party.

Never-ending Rock and Roll Spirits

As the concert approached its end, Xdinary Heroes delivered a powerful rendition of some of their most well-known tracks such as Bad Chemical, Freakin’ Bad, Strawberry Cake, Pirates, and Bicycle that truly showcased their identity as a rock band. They also did not forget to include a captivating performance of Break the Brake as the main event of the night.

To conclude the unforgettable night, Xdinary Heroes once again impressed the crowd with an exhilarating performance of Happy Death Day before proceeding to express their gratitude to the fans attending the concert. Each member delivered personal messages in Indonesian, fostering an even deeper connection with their adoring fans.

Even though it was time to say goodbye, the members made a heartfelt promise to return and reunite with Indonesian Villains. They also encouraged fans to keep the rock and roll spirit alive until the day Xdinary Heroes return to Indonesia.
