[INDONESIA] SEVENTEEN Showered with Rain and Love for their BE THE SUN WORLD TOUR – Additional Show In Jakarta

SEVENTEEN came back and showed no signs of fatigue or worry even in horrible weather during their additional show on December 28, 2022 at GBK Madya Stadium. Here is a recap of how the boys closed off the very last stop of their Be The Sun World Tour!

Scorching Opening Performances

Even as the crowd stood beneath the rain, nothing could contain their screams of excitement at seeing SEVENTEEN start off the night with their most energetic songs: HOT, March, HIT, and Rock with you

The impressive visual effects also transported everyone to a world wherein SEVENTEEN became the sun, as their world tour title suggested. With the members dancing and singing at high intensity, they managed to show the fans exactly how their performances also reflected that journey.

Unique Unit Stages

The boys didn’t let the weather conditions dictate the rest of the night either as they split up into various units for the second part of the concert. As is tradition for SEVENTEEN, the Performance, Vocal, and Hip-Hop units performed a couple of songs each.

Despite missing one of their members, Xu Minghao, the Performance Unit still gave their all with their choreography for MOONWALKER and Wave, which looked impossibly beautiful in the rain.

The Vocal Unit sang their hearts out for their songs Come to me and Imperfect love. They also invited the crowd to sing along for a portion of the latter, touching the emotions of everyone there that night.

The Hip-Hop Unit didn’t fail to capture the blazing quality of GAM3 BO1 and Back it up with their live performances, getting the crowd jumping and chanting at the top of their lungs.

There were also additional performances from special units of Joshua and Vernon for 2 MINUS 1, as well as S.Coups, Hoshi, and Woozi (also known as Leader Line) with their performance of CHEERS.

Special Relationship with CARATs

For their final stop of the world tour, SEVENTEEN were particularly sentimental throughout the concert. They mentioned being very grateful for the fans who were willing to stand there in the rain and how this was a special moment that they would never forget.

As a special treat, Vernon sang his new song, Black Eye, twice and was met with roaring enthusiasm from the crowd and his fellow members.

CARATs had their own surprises for the boys as they greeted Joshua with a resounding happy birthday song a day before the actual celebration. Later on during the concert, the fans also executed their project with success, singing Smile Flower for SEVENTEEN as a show of gratitude for all their hard work during the show and tour.

To close off the night’s speeches, the boys promised that they would be back very soon, exciting the crowd with a possible future reunion. Finally, as has become a staple in their concert setlist, SEVENTEEN performed their endless version of VERY NICE, leaving the crowd satisfied before they went home.

It was an incredible, unforgettable night for both SEVENTEEN and CARATs as they shared their time under the rain together. We extend our sincerest thanks to Mecimapro for inviting us to this event! 🙂
