[INDONESIA] HYPE DAY at K City Camp with CLC & GFRIEND

Indonesian Cheshires and Buddies were very lucky when CLC and GFRIEND pampered them with amazing performances on 9th December 2018 at Istora Senayan. The joint concert titled ‘K CityCamp 2018’ lasted for almost 2 hours with never-ending fanchants that even the gloomy skies of Jakarta couldn’t stop the hype! 😀

CLC’s First Time in Indonesia
The show started strong at exactly 6pm with the ladies of CLC kicking things off with “Hobgoblin” . They officially greeted the fans after their performance and comparing how cold the weather is in Korea currently, they were glad for the hot weather in Jakarta as Cheshires were full of enthusiasm that night!

CLC returned to the main stage with both “I Like It” and “Meow Meow”. The girls expressed their gratitude over the warm welcome and apologised for the long wait to fans in Indonesia and promised to be back again in the future. 

Finished Strong
The seven beautiful girls of CLC took it down a notch as they continued with “Summer Kiss”. With a touch of sweetness, the girls performed their debut song “Pepe” next and members Seungyeon and Yeeun delivered their parts really well during this performance.

Time passed really quickly when you are having fun, and Sorn had to bid goodbye to fans in English on behalf of the group. Seunghee continuously said thank you to the fans that night and  CLC ended their performance with the long-awaited hit, “Black Dress”.

Sowon’s Special Day
While waiting for GFRIEND on stage, Indonesian Buddies sang ‘Happy Birthday’ in Korean as the event took place just two days after leader Sowon‘s birthday! Of course, this action did not go unnoticed by the girls, as they kicked off their segment with an incredible performance of “Fingertip”. Showing no signs of stopping, the girls continued with their addictive track, “Me Gusta Tu”.

Yuju then led the greeting session with an introduction in English. After all of the members had greeted the audience, Sowon requested for the audience to sing the birthday song again! Of course, fans were more than happy to grant her wish as they sang along together. Sowon then rewarded the audience with a performance of “Mermaid”. 

It’s Not The End, Buddies
The show progressed with GFRIEND’s hit track, “Rough”! SinB beautifully captured the audience’s hearts by her flawless movements for this particular song. 

Nearing to the end of the show, their track “Vacation” was next on the list along with “Love Bug”. GFRIEND assured fans that this wasn’t a goodbye and promised them a solo concert next year!  They ended the night’s show with a beautiful rendition of their latest track  “Time for The Moon Night”.

It was a great show by both groups and The Seoul Story would like to extend our gratitude to Citilive Event for the opportunity to be part of it! We hope to see both CLC & GFRIEND again soon 🙂
