Actor Sung Hoon who is known for his role in popular K-dramas such as ’Five Enough’, ‘Oh My Venus’ and ‘My Secret Romance’ recently visited Indonesia for ‘My Secret Date With Sunghoon Fan Meeting in Jakarta’ on November 9th, 2019 at Gandaria City Hall. Here are some points you shouldn’t miss from the concert-like fan-meeting!

Sung Hoon’s favourite things

With a vow to have fun throughout the night, Sung Hoon started his fan-meeting. He jokingly warned fans to save their energy because it was going be a long ride. Sitting down for a Q&A segment and game session, fans learned more about the actor and his most favourite things.

Sung Hoon revealed his habit in eating; he loves rice; he doesn’t cook and always orders deliveries; and he is used to eating alone. Well, not literally alone if we count his pet dog who always keeps him company! Sung Hoon proudly introduced Yanghee, his female pet dog that has a lot of aegyo. She made her debut in Sung Hoon’s ‘I Live Alone’. Seems like fans both adore and envy Yanghee at the same time!

Currently on a diet, Sung Hoon says he works out and does lots of body training. He also disclosed the fact that he’s been living alone for around ten years, so he naturally enjoyed it. When the emcee asked him to pick his most favourite drama, Sung Hoon chose ‘My Secret Romance’ because it gained a very good responses from fans. Meanwhile for his next project, Sung Hoon confessed that one of the reason he’s on tour is to listen to his fans’ opinion. He wanted to know what kind of project the fans want him to act in before picking one. During the night, Sung Hoon also played games with some lucky fans, and he personally prepared a present for them. He’s truly the sweetest!

Sung Hoon serenading fans and A.FACT performing as a band

Actor Sung Hoon proved that he’s more than just good looks! With his honey voice, Sung Hoon presented fans with several songs. Not only did he sing his own songs such as ‘Only You In This World’ and ‘Has It Started’, but also a beautiful rendition of Lee Seok Hoon’s ‘Beginning of Love’. To get even closer to fans, Sung Hoon also moved around the hall, making fans cheer even louder. Seems like he underestimated fans’ energy in the beginning, because later on he cutely complained how could fans shout and cheer so powerfully. Nevertheless, he surely loved fans reaction.

The guest star of the fan meeting, A.FACT, took over the stage as Sung Hoon disappeared backstage to take a little break. The five-membered group performed as a band and delivered amazing covers of F.T IslandI Hope’ and WableViolet Fragrance’. They have yet to officially debut, but the crowd’s response said otherwise. Fans cheered very loudly and shouted each member’s name as if it was A.FACT’s own fan-meeting. They successfully entertained fans until Sung Hoon came back from backstage.

Getting fans so fired up that they don’t want to go home

One serious question — what can’t multi-talented Sung Hoon do? He acts, he sings, and he’s also a DJ! Going under the name ‘ROI’ for his DJ-ing activites, Sung Hoon returned and instantly transformed the hall into a club! With A.FACT and some dancers joining him on stage, Sung Hoon played some trendy beats including BTSBlood Sweat & Tears’ and ‘MIC Drop’ that got fans really hyped up. Everybody put their hands in the air and soaked up the electrifying atmosphere.

Assuming the end was near, fans started to chant unison, “Gak mau pulang, maunya digoyang” (means: we don’t wanna go home, we want to dance). They kept repeating the chant until Sung Hoon got curious and asked what it meant. After knowing fans didn’t want him to stop, Sung Hoon dropped more sick beats gaining loud cheers from the audience.

The party eventually ended after three hours of non-stop performances from Sung Hoon and A.FACT. It was an unforgettable Satur-date full of emotions, ranging from sweet to energetic, and Sung Hoon obviously kept his promise to have the utmost fun!
