[INDONESIA] A Special Message from Stray Kids at Spotify On Stage 2018 Press Conference

On Friday, 12 October 2018, we had the chance to meet Stray Kids, the 9 member rookie boy group from JYP Entertainment, before they performed for Spotify on Stage 2018 at JI Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

I.N answered the first question about the differences for Stray Kids before and after their debut. He stated that there isn’t much difference for them as they still practice hard everyday to give the best performances for their fans. But now after debuting, more people acknowledge them and they also received more love from fans as their fandom STAY(s) keeps growing everyday.

As a group who mostly makes songs on their own, Changbin said that they got the inspiration for their songs from everyday lives. He also said that their company seniors like GOT7 and 2PM inspired them in making hit songs along with other seniors in the industry as well.

Stray Kids is also the first K-pop group to make it in ‘Spotify Early Noise 2018′ list! Leader Bangchan, representing the members, said that he felt proud about the achievement and it was also an honor for Stray Kids to perform at Spotify on Stage.

As it was the first time performing in Indonesia, Felix said that he’s always happy to come to a new place and get to experience a new culture. It was more special since they could meet their fans far away from home. Han also added that they felt nervous and excited to meet Indonesian STAYs for the first time. Before ending the press conference, Stray Kids delivered a  special message to Indonesian STAYs!

“We feel nervous to perform in front of our Indonesian fans for the first time but we hope that we can bring our best performances and give you a beautiful experience tonight”!
