The spectacular night of ‘Super K-POP Festival‘ continued on 29th September 2019. As exciting as the Day 1, the line-up for the Day 2 show also successfully created many wonderful memories for Indonesian fans.
fromis_9
The first artist was the girls of fromis_9. Performing with a full squad, they started off with their latest summer hit ‘FUN‘, ‘LOVE RUMPUMPUM‘, and ‘DKDK‘, earning a loud cheers from the audience who had been waiting for them.
As it was member Hayoung‘s birthday, Indonesian flover unitedly sang a happy birthday song for her. Hayoung and the rest of fromis_9 expressed their gratitude and moved around the stage to get closer to fans. They ended their performance with ‘Glass Shoes‘ and ‘Love Bomb‘.
THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ was next in line, hyping everybody up with their energetic performance of ‘D.D.D‘, ‘Keeper‘ and ‘Bloom Bloom‘. Although Hwall was still on hiatus and did not attend the festival, their dance stayed flawless. It was only three months since their last visit to Indonesia for ‘The Castle Fan-Con in Jakarta‘, and the members said Indonesian Deobis‘ passionate reactions was very memorable to them.
After playfully flirting with Deobis using Indonesian words like ‘Mantul‘ and ‘Sheyeng‘, THE BOYZ continued with ‘Text Me Back‘, ‘Giddy Up‘, and ‘No Air‘ before finally bidding goodbye to the audience.
MOMOLAND
It was like a flashmob when MOMOLAND showed up with their iconic hits ‘BBoom BBoom‘, ‘BAAM‘ and ‘I’m So Hot‘ because the audience could not help but dance together with them!
Coming to Indonesia for the first time, MOMOLAND happily greeted Indonesian Merries and briefly talked about trivial things, such as how JooE listed snake fruit as her favorite food from Indonesia. Before parting with the audience, MOMOLAND also performed ‘JJan! Koong! Kwang!‘, ‘Freeze‘ and ‘Wonderful Love‘.
Lee Hi
Another birthday girl for the night was Lee Hi. The girl was very impressed with the warm welcome from Indonesian Hice Cream, and thanked them for wishing her a happy birthday. Lee Hi brought the audience to serenity with ‘Breathe‘ and ‘Rose‘.
She actively chatted with fans that night, and she expressed her wish to stay longer. Lee Hi then went on with her debut song ‘1, 2, 3, 4‘ and finally finished her turn with ‘No One‘.
Red Velvet
Red Velvet also present on the first day, nevertheless the reactions was still as huge as ever! Reveluvs powerfully chanted their name as Red Velvet began the summer party with ‘Red Flavor‘, ‘Power Up‘, their magical spell ‘Zimzalabim‘ and also ‘Umpah Umpah‘.
Just like the previous night, Red Velvet also sang their B-tracks ‘With You‘ and ‘Ladies Night‘. Despite being famous for their colourful and addictive sounds, Red Velvet was exceptionally good at delivering a slower tempo song, too. Seems like six songs were not enough for Indonesian Reveluvs as they wished the girls would not disappear from the stage. We really hope Red Velvet will return for a solo concert!
Kyuhyun
After many heated performances the ballad prince arrived to calm the night. Kyuhyun started to serenade the audience with ‘A Million Pieces‘, ‘Aewol’ri‘ and ‘Time With You‘.
He slightly teased fans with the news of Super Junior’s upcoming comeback and concert tour in Indonesia, getting ELFs shouting in excitement. Going on with ‘Flying, Deep In The Night‘ and ending his stage with ‘At Gwanghwamun‘, Kyuhyun promised they will meet again soon.
Super Junior-D&E
The last artist for the festival was Super Junior-D&E, appearing strong from the start with ‘Danger‘. The duo went around the stage to greet their everlasting friends, before resuming the performance with ‘Growing Pains‘, ‘Sunrise‘, and ‘Bout You‘.
Just like Kyuhyun, D&E also brought up the topic of Super Show 8 in Jakarta. Looks like Super Junior members also cannot wait to reunite with Indonesian ELFs! To end the night, D&E poured their last energy into an extravagant show of ‘Oppa, Oppa‘, jumping here and there and waved good bye to the audience. The lights dimmed and that marked the end of ‘Super K-POP Festival Day 2’.
These two days were truly a grand festival filled with an amazing line-up. We would like to thank Cana Global Media and Tokopedia for the media invite.
