[INDONESIA] GAHO, KAVE, PENTAGON & BTOB ROCK IT OUT AT CHOTHA FEST IN JAKARTA

An intimate concert with the brightest stars! Chotha Fest was successfully held at Balai Sarbini on August 27 with performances from GAHO, KAVE, PENTAGON and BTOB. It was a great unison of cheers and warm support from all the fandoms present. Here is a recap of the magical night!

GAHO & KAVE Prove They Are OST Kings

The show kicked off with a harmonious blend of tunes and vocal prowess as GAHO and KAVE took over the opening segment. Known for their participation in impeccable OSTs such as Start Over and Running from dramas Itaewon Class and Start-Up, it created a wonderful atmosphere of euphoria to have everyone singing along to the performances.

GAHO could not contain his excitement as he shared that Beautiful Night was specially written for Indonesian fans. What caught us by surprise was how they prepared the song Cinta Luar Biasa by Andmesh, proving that music knows no boundaries for the multi-talented band despite the language barrier.

Serving musical slayage, the band then presented a special cover of BLACKPINK‘s How You Like That which was certainly an unforgettable performance. With a re-arranged live band version of the song, GAHO and KAVE exceeded expectations with their versatility and musicality.

PENTAGON As Stage Masters

No stranger to stage performances, PENTAGON was such a natural as they unveiled their stages with Feelin’ Like and Sparkling Night. Their live vocals and synchronised dance moves brought in excitement from fans who have waited a long time for the boys to visit Indonesia.

Having released his latest solo track Pose recently, Kino took the chance to present a little dance to UNIVERSEs during their introduction segment. Power vocalist Jinho then captivated the audience with his powerful vocal skills as he sang The Game in a musical style which garnered roaring applause from everyone.

The boys then continued their passionate performances of Call My Name and Beautiful Goodbye before ending with Baby I Love You, Do or Not and mega hit song Shine. They promised fans to return to Indonesia soon hopefully with Hui, Hongseok and Yanan next time!

Legendary Vocal Kings BTOB

As the most awaited group of the night, BTOB dazzled the crowd with their summer hit Only One For Me as their opening number. Blue light sticks glowed luminously as MELODYs showed their utmost support to the boys as they performed Dreamer next.

Back again to Indonesia after three years, the members did their best to communicate with the audience in Bahasa. Changsub asked the crowd “Apa Kabar?”, which stands for “How Are You?” with Minhyuk continuing the conversation with “Aku kangen kalian” which means “I miss you”! Hyunsik then expressed his gratitude with “Terima kasih sudah datang” which means “Thank you for coming”. Ending it off, leader Eunkwang asked the crowd “Sudah makan belum?” asking if fans had already eaten.

After the enjoyable catch up with fans, BTOB continued their performance with The Song and Beautiful Pain expressing their longing and loving hearts towards fans.

The gentlemen then ended their stage with mega-hit track Missing You bringing out the loudest fanchant of the night during the encore. They also promised to return to Indonesia with Peniel and Sungjae in the future.

The show then ended with a gathering of all the artists on stage as GAHO, KAVE, PENTAGON, and BTOB sang along to Blooming Day. It was indeed a memorable night that will be remembered for a long time. The Seoul Story would like to thank GUDHype for extending the media invitation! 🙂
