[INDONESIA] Kim Myungsoo (L) Tells OVESPIRIT to ‘Stay Close’ at <UNCHANGED> in Jakarta

Just a year after meeting Indonesian fans with INFINITE, Kim Myungsoo made his return to Jakarta for an even more intimate occasion, his first-ever solo fan-con in the country. Held on July 4, 2026, at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater, the 2026 KIM MYUNGSOO (L) FAN-CON ASIA TOUR <UNCHANGED> in JAKARTA became a historic moment as the first solo event by an INFINITE member in Indonesia. Naturally, OVEPIRITs—the name affectionately shared by OVE (Kim Myungsoo’s fans) and INSPIRIT (INFINITE’s fandom)— couldn’t hide their excitement as they gathered to create another unforgettable chapter with Myungsoo.

Kim Myungsoo kicked off the fan-con with two beloved INFINITE songs, Way You Are from the group’s latest album and 1/3. After performing the latter, he shared that he considers 1/3 to be one of INFINITE’s best songs, drawing loud cheers from fans. The nostalgic opening instantly brought back memories for INSPIRITs, as the audience sang along and filled the venue with thunderous cheers, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the evening.

After the opening performances, Myungsoo greeted OVEPIRITs with a phrase that instantly sent the crowd into laughter. Borrowing the now-viral line from No Na‘s hit Rollerblade, he enthusiastically asked, “Udah siap belum?” (“Are you ready?”), earning one of the loudest cheers of the night. He then playfully introduced himself as “Sayang Jagiya,” combining the Indonesian word sayang and the Korean word jagiya, both affectionate terms meaning “sweetie”, leaving the audience melting with laughter and applause.

Seeing Myungsoo’s playful energy, the MC introduced him to Indonesia’s latest viral dance craze, the Kicau Mania challenge. Once he learned the moves, Myungsoo couldn’t stop dancing to it throughout the fancon, much to everyone’s amusement. The MC jokingly had to tell him, “Stop!” several times, but Myungsoo kept breaking into the dance whenever he got the chance, filling the venue with nonstop laughter.

The fun continued with two interactive games that brought Myungsoo even closer to the audience. Every fan had received two cards at their seats, which they used to participate throughout the session. In the first game, Myungsoo hosted a true-or-false quiz by asking a series of questions while fans raised the card they believed was the correct answer. One of the questions was based on a recent post from his Instagram account, prompting Myungsoo to jokingly remind everyone, “Don’t cheat by opening Instagram!”. His playful warning immediately drew laughter from the crowd.

Before moving on to the second game, Myungsoo treated fans to two upbeat performances, Blue Summer and My Universe. The bright, refreshing energy of Blue Summer perfectly captured the feeling of summer, while My Universe turned into a heartwarming sing-along as the lyrics were displayed on the screen.

The second game challenged fans to guess Myungsoo’s answer by choosing between A or B. One of the questions asked what career he would choose if he hadn’t become an artist, and Myungsoo answered that he would be a photographer. For many OVEPIRITs, the answer came as no surprise, as he had previously released a photobook featuring photographs he personally captured. The segment was filled with laughter, cheers, and moments that once again showed how well Myungsoo and his fans know each other.

After bidding farewell to the MC, Myungsoo returned to the stage with Stay Close, a special song released exclusively for the fan-con tour. Accompanied by energetic choreography, he delivered a captivating performance that had OVEPIRITs cheering throughout the song. Without slowing down the excitement, he continued with Heartthrob by INFINITE F, bringing a wave of nostalgia as fans enthusiastically sang and clapped along to the familiar track.

After a quick outfit change, Myungsoo returned to the stage in a casual black T-shirt and jeans, creating an even more relaxed atmosphere. This time, instead of staying on stage, he walked through the audience while performing, making the fan-con feel incredibly intimate. He ventured deep into the venue, almost reaching the last rows, personally greeting fans along the way. To make the moment even more special, he stopped to sign several items that fans held out, including albums and photobooks, turning the performance into an unforgettable experience for those lucky enough to be close to him.

For the finale, Myungsoo performed one of his most beloved solo songs, What’s Not To Love. At one point, he briefly sang the song completely a cappella, effortlessly showcasing the strength of his live vocals and leaving the audience in awe before the music seamlessly joined back in. It was a fitting ending to a night filled with heartfelt performances and genuine interactions.

Before saying goodbye, Myungsoo sincerely thanked Jakarta fans for their incredible energy, sharing that this had truly been one of his favorite fan-cons. He then bid farewell to his beloved Sayang Jagiya by blowing kisses across the venue, drawing one final wave of cheers from OVEPIRITs. The memorable evening concluded with a Hi-Touch session, giving every attendee a chance to meet Myungsoo up close and end the night with a precious memory.
