DEPT returned to Jakarta for the second year in a row, bringing his warm indie charm back to the city with the Dream Age Tour in Jakarta 2025, held on 30 November 2025 at MNC Conference Hall. Fans filled the venue, eager to experience the soft, emotional atmosphere that DEPT is known for, this time with the added excitement of a full live band accompanying him on stage. The night became even more special when he welcomed two Indonesian singers, Nabila Taqiyyah and Febinda Tito, as guest performers, creating memorable collaborations that made the concert feel truly close to home for the audience.
The concert started at around 7 PM, with two members of DEPT’s live band stepping onto the stage first to set up the keyboard and drums. After the audience sang Indonesia Raya together, excitement began to rise as the concert VCR appeared on the big screen. Moments later, a mosaic-style visual dominated by green tones filled the backdrop, and DEPT finally emerged with his guitar in hand. He opened the night with Green, marking the start of an intimate and emotional musical journey with the crowd.
The intimate atmosphere was felt from the very beginning, as DEPT clearly showed his desire to stay close to the audience. During the second song, Whenever It Rains, he surprised everyone by stepping into the crowd and singing right among the fans. The audience was briefly taken aback by the unexpected fan service, yet they warmly made space for DEPT to walk between the rows of seats, returning every heart gesture sent his way. By the third song, Autumn Breeze, he took the interaction even further by heading up to the second floor to greet fans there as well, making sure no one felt left out.
The warmth of the night continued with Truth, as DEPT invited everyone to stand up and join the moment together. Even though the concert was still in its early stages, the cool Jakarta air after the rain slowly faded away, replaced by the growing warmth of shared excitement inside the hall. The playful back and forth between DEPT and the audience created an easy, genuine connection, turning the chilly night into something comforting and alive with energy.

Heartfelt Collaborations and Special Duets
The first surprise guest of the night was Febinda Tito, an artist who has collaborated with DEPT several times and is known for performing Indonesian versions of his songs. While DEPT took a short break backstage, Febinda shared her personal experience working with him, describing DEPT as incredibly humble and expressing how happy he was when he first received the collaboration offer. He then filled the room with warmth as he performed his latest single, Bila Nanti Kau Cinta, before welcoming DEPT back to the stage.
Once DEPT returned, he also shared how much fun he had working with Febinda. Their chemistry continued through two special duet performances of Strawberry Champagne and Green, both presented in a unique Indonesian and Korean mixed version. The crowd was visibly touched by how the familiar songs felt fresh again in their localized arrangements, making the collaboration feel even more meaningful and intimate.
The excitement did not stop there as the second highly anticipated guest star took the stage, Nabila Taqiyyah. At just 20 years old, Nabila immediately impressed DEPT with her achievements and strong musical portfolio at such a young age. He even joked about their age gap, calling himself already in his mid-thirties, which drew laughter from the audience and added a warm, playful tone to their interaction.
Before performing together, Nabila treated the audience to two of her solo songs, asking fans to turn on their phone flashlights to create a dreamy atmosphere across the venue. The moment felt soft and magical. After that, she and DEPT united in a beautiful harmony for Van Gogh and Winter Blossom, both performed in English. Their voices blended gracefully, delivering one of the sweetest and most emotionally touching moments of the entire night.

Endless Energy and Playful Chaos on Stage
DEPT showed just how comical and energetic he could be on stage. He ran back and forth between the first and second floors as if he had unlimited stamina, hyping up fans on every side of the venue. His excitement even led to a small slip on the stairs as he rushed back down, which only made the crowd laugh and cheer louder. Instead of feeling embarrassed, DEPT turned the moment into playful humor, proving once again how naturally entertaining he is.
In between his warm and emotional performances, DEPT also surprised the audience with a spontaneous breakdance move, something he proudly shared as a skill he had mastered back in his school days. The night continued with a sweet rendition of Winter, followed by the highly anticipated Love Songs, a track that tells stories of past relationships and lingering memories. This song received one of the loudest reactions of the night, as many fans had clearly been waiting for it. Adding to the excitement, DEPT personally handed out several signed albums to lucky audience members right on the spot.
After previously performing the Indonesian version with Febinda, DEPT finally delivered his full original version of Strawberry Champagne, which sent the crowd into another wave of excitement. The energy stayed high as he continued with Maybe It’ll Be the Last Time, wrapping the segment with both warmth and intensity. With his nonstop movement, playful charm, and powerful connection with the audience, DEPT once again proved that his stage is not just a concert, but a shared emotional journey with his fans.

The night grew even more exciting with Summertime, a song he admitted was one of the hardest for him to create because of its EDM elements. Unlike most of his mellow tracks, this one carried an upbeat energy that instantly changed the mood of the room. DEPT invited everyone to stand up, dance, and fully enjoy the rhythm together.
After performing My Fourth Spring, he created one of the most heartwarming moments of the concert through Love From Spring. DEPT personally invited three lucky fans to come up on stage and sing with him. The fanservice did not stop there. During Green, he gently held hands with the three lucky fans and walked around the venue together.
DEPT closed the night with Sun and Moon and Deep Green, leaving behind a lingering sense of closeness and gratitude between him and the audience. The concert did not end as a typical performance but as a shared emotional journey built through music, laughter, and genuine connection. That night, DEPT once again reminded everyone that his shows are not just about songs on stage, but about creating memories together with the fans who grow alongside him.
