[SINGAPORE] Oh Mymy, What Have TWS Done to Us?

From their infectious energy to their heartwarming interactions with fans, TWS (SHINYU, DOHOON, YOUNGJAE, HANJIN, JIHOON and KYUNGMIN) had their fans, 42s (pronounced “sa-i”) falling head over heels as they took over the stage with ‘2026 TWS TOUR ‘24/7:FOR:YOU’ over the weekend. Making their long-awaited Singapore debut at Arena @ EXPO, the six-member boy group delivered an evening filled with explosive performances, heartfelt moments and their signature refreshing boyhood charm, reminding everyone why they have captured so many hearts with their youthful energy and vibrant personalities.

Hooked from the First Beat

Starting right on the dot, TWS wasted no time getting the arena on its feet, opening with the energetic ‘hey! hey!’ before rolling straight into ‘Countdown!’ and ‘OVERDRIVE’. The latter was a particularly fitting addition to the setlist, having taken the internet by storm last year with its addictive ‘Angtal Challenge‘, which saw fans and even stars across the Korean entertainment industry joining in on the viral dance trend.

From the very first beat, the boys commanded the stage with their sharp choreography and dynamic stage presence, setting the tone for a night that would only get better.

During their opening group ment, TWS expressed their excitement about finally meeting their Singaporean 42s, sharing their hopes of making the night a memorable one for everyone. Some members also mentioned that visiting Singapore had always been a goal of theirs, making it all the more special to finally be here and spend time with their fans. The members encouraged everyone to let loose and enjoy the concert without regrets, even checking in with the crowd with a cheerful “Shiok or not?” Their efforts to connect with fans in English, sprinkled with the occasional Singlish expression, made their interactions all the more endearing and added a uniquely Singaporean touch to the evening.

The members also shared updates on their new hairstyles, sparking a little playful teasing among themselves. KYUNGMIN revealed that he had dyed and permed his hair, joking that the faded colour left him looking like a brown puppy. SHINYU, meanwhile, felt his hairstyle gave him a prince-like look for 42s, with JIHOON chiming in that he had a similar look. Of course, the members couldn’t resist poking fun at one another’s new looks, adding to the playful exchange.

The playful banter naturally led into TWS’ ‘Otshow Otshow!‘ moment, as the members turned their attention to the evening’s dress code and the fashion choices of their Singaporean 42s. They praised fans’ outfits and tried to spot those who had dressed up for the occasion, making it a fun exchange that celebrated the effort fans had put into sharing the special night with them.

Before launching into ‘Lucky to be Loved‘, KYUNGMIN even dropped a cheeky hint at the next song with“love you lah!” in true Singaporean fashion. The localised touch had 42s playing along and added another memorable moment to the evening.

After a quick change of outfits, TWS returned with ‘Fire Escape’, revealing another side of the group before continuing with ‘All the Possibilities’, ‘Overthinking’ and ‘Last Festival’.

The change in mood gave fans a glimpse of the group’s versatility, moving beyond their signature refreshing charm to showcase a more mature and expressive side. Whether through their vocals, stage presence or synchronised choreography, the six members demonstrated how much they have grown as performers while retaining the bright spirit that first drew fans to them.

Three Units, Three Different Moods

The arena was in for another treat when the members split into their respective units, each bringing a distinct flavour to the stage. Three units, three different moods — and yet another reason to fall for TWS all over again.

JIHOON and KYUNGMIN (MINIHOONIE) opened the unit performances with ‘SHIFT’, immediately transforming the arena into a high-energy spectacle. Their powerful choreography and commanding expressions brought a new intensity to the stage, with KYUNGMIN stealing the spotlight with an impressive leap off an elevated platform formed by the dancers. The daring move added an extrathrill to their explosive routine.

The atmosphere then softened as YOUNGJAE and HANJIN (JINIZ) took over with ‘All Along’. Their sweet vocals and seamless harmonies filled the hall, creating a comforting moment amid the night’s high-energy performances. With the song’s nostalgic sentiments and reassuring message, the duo offered 42s a gentle reminder that music can be a source of comfort.

SHINYU and DOHOON (YUDOZ) closed the unit segment with ‘How Did You Do That’, switching things up once again with a more intense, club-like atmosphere. Their contrasting stage presence and dynamic delivery injected a different kind of flair into the arena, proving that TWS could move effortlessly between powerful performances, heartfelt vocals and charismatic swagger.

From Powerful Choreography to Playful Classics

The momentum carried on as TWS returned as a full group for ‘Get It Now’ and ‘Head Shoulders Knees Toes’. With their sharp movements and confident delivery, the members kept the crowd engaged, showing off a more powerful side of their performance skills.

After another outfit change, the boys took fans on a trip down memory lane with some of their earlier hits. The opening notes of ‘plot twist’ brought an immediate roar of recognition, reminding everyone of the song that first introduced many 42s to TWS and their signature boyhood pop sound.

The group followed up with ‘If I’m S, Can You Be My N?‘ and ‘Nice to See You Again’, bringing back the bright, youthful charm that has become synonymous with the group. Although TWS have continued to evolve and explore new sides of their artistry, hearing these classics live was a lovely reminder of where their journey began and how far they have come since. The nostalgic run continued with ‘You,You’ and ‘Oh Mymy:7s’, keeping the arena buzzing as fans sang and cheered along.

Encore, Can or Not? TWS Said Can!

Just when it seemed like the night was drawing to a close, TWS returned for their encore with‘Back to Strangers’, inviting 42s to sing along and making the arena feel even more intimate. With voices joining together across the venue, the song became a fitting moment to reflect on the memories made throughout the evening.

During their ending ments, TWS shared their gratitude for Singaporean 42s, reflecting on the precious memories they had made together. SHINYU revealed that he had hoped to explore Singapore and try its famous food, including crab, but was a little sad that their schedule required them to return to Korea for Inkigayo. Nevertheless, he cherished the time spent with fans and shared that he had told himself during the performance that he wants to return to Singapore.

The members were equally touched by the crowd’s enthusiastic cheers and fanchants. DOHOON praised 42s for their incredible energy and expressed his hopes of returning to perform at a bigger venue, while HANJIN shared how grateful he was to finally meet fans in Singapore after wanting to visit for a long time. He thanked them for the effort they had made to attend and promised to return their love through TWS’ performances, hoping they would continue making happy memories together.

Meanwhile, YOUNGJAE, who was sharing about the group’s upcoming comeback, also thanked fans for making his day and ended with a sweet “Love you 3000!” KYUNGMIN reflected on how his initial excitement and worries had turned into an unforgettable experience, hoping to return to Singapore again and again. JIHOON was also delighted that his dream of performing in Singapore had finally come true, treasuring the moments of making eye contact with fans and declaring that 42s were his first love.

Despite having only a day together, the members expressed their hopes of reuniting with Singaporean 42s soon and encouraged everyone to continue supporting one another. DOHOON also asked fans to look forward to TWS’ November comeback, leaving 42s with plenty to anticipate even after the concert ended.

Throughout their closing messages, the members made a genuine effort to communicate in English, occasionally slipping in a little Singlish that made the distance between stage and audience feel smaller. Their words may have echoed one another, but the sincerity behind them was clear: TWS was grateful for every cheer, every fan who had prepared for the show, and every moment spent together.

And just when everyone thought it was time to say goodbye, the boys returned once more for ‘Why You So Bad’. But the night was far from over! With the crowd’s enthusiam showing no signs of fading, TWS returned for an extra encore, treating fans to ‘hey! hey!’, ‘Hot Blue Shoes‘ and ‘Double Take’. The members even took on the ‘OVERDRIVE’ dance challenge with 42s, turning the concert into one last opportunity to dance and have fun together. Keeping the celebration going, they continued with ‘Fire Confetti’ before bringing everyone together once more for the last ‘hey! hey!’. As they made their way around the venue to say goodbye to fans in every corner, it was clear that neither TWS nor 42s were quite ready for the night to end.

From the first ‘hey! hey!’ to the final goodbye, TWS gave Singaporean 42s a night to remember, filled with thrilling performances, genuine connections and moments to treasure to cherish long after the lights went down. Their youthful charm and appreciation for their fans made their Singapore debut more than just another stop on the tour. It was a special first chapter shared between TWS and their Singaporean 42s.

Though their time together lasted just one evening, the members’ promise to return left the door open for another chapter together. After all, if their first encounter was this memorable, we can only imagine what a second one might bring.

Until then, Singapore, it’s not goodbye. It’s simply ‘Nice to See You Again!’
