[INDONESIA] All Eyes on ENHYPEN During Fate Plus Concert in Jakarta

Sensational fourth generation boy group from Belift Lab, ENHYPEN, finally visited Indonesia for ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR “FATE PLUS” IN JAKARTA on August 17-18, 2024. Indonesian ENGENES have waited a long time for this moment, and the boys surely knew how to make the wait totally worth it!

The two-day show was filled with captivating performances from the talented group, and we’re honoured to witness them on the first day!

Alluring Performances From The Start

The concert officially started as ENHYPEN made a grand entrance to the stage. Jake was the first member to appear and mesmerize the audience with a burning red envelope in his hand. He was followed by Jay, who made his entrance with an archery bow, and Ni-Ki, who soon turned off all the lights with just a flick of his fingers. The rest of the members then joined the three on the stage, ready to show off their charisma as a group.

The boys were clad in blue and white royal attire, matching the concert set, which successfully turned the concert venue into a palace. ENHYPEN kicked off the concert with powerful performances of Drunk-Dazed and Blockbuster. Indonesian ENGENES, who had been waiting for this moment for so long, did not forget to sing along to the songs!

TMI Time!

During the first ment, each member took the time to greet the audience in Bahasa Indonesia. Jungwon, the cute leader, expressed, “Aku kangen ENGENE dan sekarang kita di Jakarta!” (I missed ENGENES and now we are in Jakarta!). Additionally, Sunghoon also flaunted his Bahasa Indonesia skills by saying, “Aku sangat menantikan hari ini untuk bertemu ENGENE” (I really look forward to this day to meet ENGENES).

As they took turns preparing themselves for the next stage, some of the members shared their TMI during their stay in Jakarta with the audience. Heeseung and Sunoo, who were both blonde that day, shared that they ate the infamous nasi goreng at their hotel. Not only nasi goreng, Heesung also tried a spicy beef dish called rendang. On the other hand, Jungwon’s TMI was a rather funny one. The leader, who had been practicing Bahasa Indonesia before meeting his beloved fans, said “Terima kasih, aku cinta kamu” (thank you, I love you) to a hotel staff. The story successfully brought laughter from the audience.

Versatile Concept Kings

After the powerful opening performances, which brought a heavy prince-like aura out of them, the seven boys continued the concert with a totally different energy. Attention, please!, ParadoXXX Invasion, and Tame-Dashed were freshly executed with rock n’ roll energy by the idols. ENHYPEN brought out an American football ball that had already been signed by them during this session. The members then randomly selected a seat number to receive the ball. To the lucky ENGENE selected, congratulations!

Shortly after that, ENHYPEN showed off their youthful charms as they performed some of their bright hits. The lovely Polaroid Love successfully filled the venue up with love, getting the crowd to sing along and jump in unison. The fun doubled when the boys were joined by adorable Pikachus on the stage during the One and Only performance. The song was a collaboration with Pokemon, so the Pikachus’ presence truly completed the performance.

Lastly, ENHYPEN darkened the atmosphere for the final session. The boys changed their outfits to black and maroon suits, which made them look like charming vampires. To match their mysterious looks, ENHYPEN performed some of their sexy tracks, including, Chaconne, CRIMINAL LOVE, and Fate. In addition, the seven boys presented Bite Me with an orchestral arrangement, making the performance even more captivating.

At the end of the show, Ni-Ki expressed his happiness for being able to finally hold their solo concert in Indonesia. His happiness was amplified by Indonesian ENGENES, who cheered and sang along with them throughout the show. He wished ENHYPEN could meet with Indonesian ENGENES more often in the future.

After more than three hours of fun, ENHYPEN had to say their goodbye. Karma being the last song of the night, officially wrapped up the Fate Plus concert in Jakarta. It was such a night to remember; we will definitely wait for your return, ENHYPEN!
