[UPCOMING EVENT] WKNDFEST Music Festival in Malaysia

Wkndfest – the hot topic of the year. News pertaining this has been flooding Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms. What is Wkndfest and who will be attending? Keep reading to find out more.

Wkndfest is an upcoming event organiser that aims to reignite the flame and passion in Malaysia’s music industry. They are planning a line of music events, beginning with the event in August. They want Malaysians to enjoy music events of different genres and are focusing on K-pop, Hip-hop and Pop.

​Owned by World Wonder Fest Sdn Bhd, WKNDFEST Vol. 1: Kpop Edition will be featuring 7 huge K-pop acts. It will also be an all-day festival. The acts that have been announced are iKon, (G)I-DLE, MAMAMOO, and MOMOLAND.

The acts for Phase 2 were announced on 24th July 2019, and they are Tiffany Young and VAV. Phase 3 artists are yet to be announced.

  • Date: 30th August 2019, Friday (previously 1st September)
  • Time: Doors open 5p.m.
  • Venue: Axiata Arena


Ticketing Details

As at 24th July 2019, new ticket prices were announced. They are as follows:

  • RM788: CAT 1 (A/B/C/D/E – Standing)
  • RM748: CAT 2 (A/B/C – Seated)
  • RM718: CAT 3 (A/B – Seated)
  • RM508: CAT 4 (A/B – Seated)
  • RM458: CAT 5 (A/B – Seated)
  • RM338: CAT 6 (A/B/C – Seated)

*prices not inclusive of booking fees
