[UPCOMING EVENT] The Last Charm: Seo Kang Jun Live in Manila

He’ll no longer be the ‘robot’ of our dreams, because finally, Seo Kang Jun’s Filipino fans will be seeing him this May–in flesh!

The actor will be coming to Manila to charm his Filo supporters through a one-day fan meeting entitled “The Last Charm.” It will be Kang Jun’s first time visiting the Philippines for an official event for his fans. This fan meeting will indeed be the perfect time for the talented actor to show how much further he can enchant his admirers with his natural charms (not to mention those effortlessly captivating eyes)!

Originally a part of Fantagio’s actor-idol group 5urprise, Kang Jun is an all-around man of talent. However, it was in acting where he found his true niche. His first ever major role was in the drama Cunning Single Lady where he bagged his first Best New Actor Award.

Aside from taking acting jobs, Kang Jun also joined various variety and reality shows such as Roommate Seasons 1 and 2, and the Law of the Jungle, where he showcased his innocent, child-like side quite different from the manly image he usually portrays in his drama roles.

Kang Jun started his fame streak when he became one of K-Drama’s most memorable second lead as Baek In Ho in Cheese in the Trap, a project he did with Park Hae-jin, Kim Go-eun, and Lee Sung-kyung. This was immediately followed by his first lead role in the Korean adaptation of American series Entourage in 2016.

In 2018, Kang Jun ultimately challenged his acting capabilities through the drama Are You Human? where he played the double-lead-roles of the vengeful human Nam Shin, and the pure and righteous AI robot Nam Shin III. The laudable attention to details he showed in portraying two very opposite characters in this drama had a lot of viewers hooked, securing Kang Jun an Excellence Award from the 32nd KBS Drama Awards later that year.

His last project was with actress Esom, for the 2018 romantic-comedy drama The Third Charm.
