[UPCOMING EVENT] K-Pop World Music Festival 2019 in Manila

Filipino K-Pop fans are in for a treat again as the K-Pop World Music Festival 2019 comes to Manila this June!

Happening at the Mall of Asia Arena on June 9th, the celebration will feature stages from Korea’s hottest K-Pop stars including idol groups RED VELVET, NCT 127, and ELRIS with member Sohee, as well as soloist Kim Donghan.
Leading this music event organized by DnM Entertainment and All Access Production is SM Entertainment’s power girl group RED VELVET, who won ‘Artist Of The Year’ at The Fact Music Awards 2019. They were also the only K-Pop group who performed at the Spring is Coming concert in Pyongyang, North Korea in 2018.

From the same entertainment agency is NCT 127, the Seoul-based unit of the boy band NCT. The boys are currently touring North America as part of their first world tour titled Neo City: The Origin and are promoting their latest album ‘We Are Superhuman.’

Meanwhile, ELRIS is a five-member girl group from Hunus Entertainment who was named the ‘Best Female Rookie Group’ at the 24th Korean Entertainment Arts Awards in 2018. The girls came back to the K-Pop music scene with their third mini-album ‘Summer Dream.’ One of the group’s members, Sohee, will also perform at the MOA Arena stage as a soloist. She is known for being part of the survival show K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance.

Last but not the least is renowned male soloist Kim Donghan, who rose to fame when he joined Korean reality survival show Produce 101 Season 2. A former JBJ member, Donghan recently released his third mini-album called ‘D-HOURS AM 7:03’ with the title track ‘Focus.’
