The ‘Nation’s Younger Boyfriend’ is about to bring back summer in the Philippines for JUST ONE NIGHT! Are you ready to spend a warm night and create beautiful memories with the one and only, Jung Hae In?
After a year, the well-acclaimed South Korean actor is coming back to Manila to meet and charm his Filipino fans once again, for his ‘One Summer Night’ Fan Meeting Tour, happening on September 28, at the New Frontier Theater, Araneta Center, Quezon City.
Hae In took part in various Korean dramas which gained high audienceship among the Filipino K-Drama fan community. Notable roles among his early acting stints were Bride of the Century (2014), where he played as the idol-singer younger brother of lead actor Lee Hongki; in the famed Reply 1988 (2015), where he cameo-ed as Dukseon’s (played by Hyeri) friend ; and in the series Blood (2015), where he captured the hearts (and triggered the tears) of viewers with his role as Hyun Woo, a medical researcher who sacrificed a lot for his vampire friend, Park Ji Sang (played by Ahn Jae Hyun).
He continued enchanting more fans when he played a minor role in hit Korean drama, Goblin (2017) as Choi Tae Hee, Ji Eun Tak’s (played by Kim Go Eun) crush and first love who has a sweet-smile-to-die-for!
Hae In’s career reached its peak in the last two years, starting with his first major role in the 2017 drama, While You Were Sleeping, as police officer Han Woo Tak, a dependable gentleman who was suffering from an unrequited love for Nam Hong Joo (played by Suzy). This continued with his stint as one of the prisoners in Prison Playbook (2017-2018).
His first lead role immediately followed, as he played the role of the affectionate and endearing Seo Joon Hee in Something in the Rain / Pretty Sister Who Buys Me Food (2018). His impressive and realistic portrayal of an innocent, young man in love got a lot of the viewers falling deeply for him—thus, eventually getting him the official nickname: ‘Nation’s Younger Boyfriend.’
In 2019, Hae In got another lead role through the drama One Spring Night, where he took on the challenge of playing the role of a single dad finding a second chance in love. He also just finished filming the movie, Tune in for Love with Goblin co-star, Kim Go Eun.
