[UPCOMING EVENT] DEAN, RAD MUSEUM & DJ YAEJI To Join For Good Vibes Festival 2019 in Malaysia

Malaysian’s much-loved music festival, popularly known as Good Vibes Festival 2019 (#GVF2019) will be marking its sixth year as it takes place from 20th till 21st July at The Ranch, Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands. The lineup has already exceeded the public’s expectation as it will feature performances from R&B singer-songwriter DEAN, singer-producer Rad Museum and DJ Yaeji. The festival has made a buzz as this is the first time for South Korean acts to perform at Good Vibes Festival.

A South Korean Hip-Hop/R&B singer and songwriter, DEAN started his career as a hip-hop artist at the age of 16. By the age of 18, DEAN found his ability for singing and his endowment of making irresistible songs. He made it into the spotlight with his hit releases such as “Pour Up”, “What 2 Do”, “D (half moon)” and “21”. Right after, he had numerous collaborations with other singers like Taeyeon and HEIZE. Under the name DEANFLUENZA, he has composed chart-toppers songs for K-Pop boy groups such as EXO, Block B and VIXX. DEAN is focused to be one of the best acts to break into the music scene both in Korea and the U.S. He has likewise worked with a few well-known artists and producers, for example, Mr. Camack, DJ esta of Soulection, Eric Bellinger, Syd, Crush, ZICO and more. This marks the second visit for DEAN coming to Malaysia.

Joining the lineup, Rad Museum. Firstly discovered by DEAN, Rad Museum (previously known as Camper) is an alternative R&B singer-songwriter. Being nominated as ‘Best New R&B’ with his debut EP Scene (2017) at Korean Music Awards, is an exceptional result as it was his very first release. Other than a performer, Rad Museum is also a visual director, who created his own album cover art, physical copy package, as well as his music videos.

Up next to hype up the night is DJ Yaeji. Born in Queens, New York, to South Korean parents, DJ Yaeji immersed herself with local underground electronic music which led her to move to South Korea and begin to record music. Yaeji’s self-titled Yaeji EP, combined club vibes with songwriting and raps darting between Korean and English. Recently, Yaeji released EP2 upon her debut, which highlights Yaeji’s diversity in dance, hip-hop and avant-popular music.
