[UPCOMING EVENT] 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Vietnam, Japan & Hong Kong

2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2017 MAMA) will be held in Vietnam, Japan and Hong Kong between November 25 and December 1. Following the expansion of Asia′s top music awards, MAMA WEEK has been established to combine MAMA being held in the different locations.

The expansion of MAMA from a one day event to a week long ceremony that takes place across Asia reveals MAMA′s willingness to expand harmony and Asian music. In order for 2017 MAMA to be a place where people become one through music, CJ E&M is working on inviting Asia′s top artists and also preparing programs for the audience to communicate with the artists in a personalised space.

The theme for this year′s 2017 MAMA is to coexist, which signifies people of various languages and cultures coexist through the global music festival. The logo also reflects the harmony that exists throughout different cultures through music.

The first event will be held in Vietnam through 2017 MAMA Premiere in Vietnam on November 25. Expectations are high as it was revealed that artists from Thailand and Singapore have prepared special performances. Additionally, 2017 MAMA in Japan and 2017 MAMA in Hong Kong will be held on November 29 and December 1 respectively. Both events will be full of appearances and performances by a variety of artists. In Hong Kong on November 30, music industry personnel, apart from artists, will also be gathering.

Additionally, the 2017 MAMA Nominations will be broadcasted on October 19 starting at 5PMKST. As soon as the nomination broadcast is over, voting will begin through 2017mama.com at 6PMKST. Meanwhile, global open market Qoo10 has been announced as the official sponsor for 2017 MAMA. Through the Qoo10 website, fans may purchase tickets as well as participate in a variety of events.
