[SINGAPORE] TWICE Spends A Magical Day At Their Fantasy Park With ONCEs

TWICE brought their Fantasy Park to Singapore ONCEs with a 3-hour concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last Sunday! TWICELAND Zone 2: Fantasy Park marks TWICE’s return to the sunny island a year after their first concert held at The Star Performing Arts Centre last year. With double the audience and a larger stage set-up, TWICE proves their immense popularity even in Singapore.

The nine girls started the concert with ‘You In My Heart’ and were seated on swings as they were dressed in white gowns, looking like angels that descended from the sky. Their melodious voices, coupled with the beautiful stage set-up, definitely got ONCEs’ hearts racing.

After performing a series of hit songs such as ‘Like Ooh-Ahh’, ‘Cheer Up’, ‘Likey’ and ‘Signal’, TWICE were ready to show the special stages that they had prepared just for ONCEs. All nine girls grooved to BoA’s ‘Valenti’, followed by solo and unit stages such as Dahyun’s version of ‘Rainism’ (original by Rain), Jihyo, Momo and Tzuyu’s rendition of ‘End Of Time’ (original by Beyonce), Nayeon and Jeongyeon’s cover of ‘Candy In My Ear’ (original by Baek Jiyoung and Taecyeon) and last but not least, Sana, Chaeyoung and Mina’s version of ‘Oppa’ (original by Wax). The girls also shared their experiences preparing for these stages, and said they had lots of fun during rehearsals. Momo expressed that it was an eye-opener trying something different from the usual bright and cute concepts, and hoped that ONCEs liked what they had prepared.

TWICE continued with their latest comeback hit – ‘What is Love?’ and fanchants were loud as fans were thrilled to have the chance to listen to this song live. In addition, they performed an acoustic version of the song, and proved themselves to be good at both singing and dancing.

As the concert came to a close, Singapore ONCEs even prepared a fan video for the girls and a banner fan project that said “We will wait till TWICE comes back”, thanking them for coming back again after a year, and for creating beautiful memories with them! Jihyo and Dahyun promised to return with a better and upgraded version of themselves, while Tzuyu thanked the crowd in Mandarin for always loving and supporting them despite being miles apart. Even if ‘thank you’ is all they could say, the girls said it will never be enough for the love and support they have received and will keep working harder to give back even more. Sana and Jihyo also thanked the staff members for making the concert possible, and for giving them another chance to meet Singapore ONCEs.
