[SINGAPORE] TWICE Dazzles With Charm During Press Conference

JYP Entertainment’s latest girl group addition TWICE recently held a press conference for their first ever ‘TWICELAND – The Opening’ tour in Singapore! Comprised of members Jihyo, Jungyeon, Nayeon, Sana, Mina, Momo, Chaeyoung & Tzuyu, the girls were elegantly clad in red befitting of their striking charms that we have all fallen in love with as they graced the stage.

As this was their first ever visit to Singapore, the fans were filled with curiosity on which local delicacies they were looking forward to try the most. To the fans’ surprise, Nayeon revealed that she wanted to try kaya toast!

The press conference proceeded with another question posted, asking the girls on what they do to overcome moments of ‘TT’ (feeling sad). Youngest member Tzuyu answered that they shake off all sadness and stress by dancing together in their dorm and ordering food while ranting to each other through the night. Looks like trendy idols TWICE share the same method as most of us as well!

With hit songs smashing through the charts such as ‘Cheer Up’ and ‘TT’, Dahyun surprisingly revealed that their favourite song to perform is actually ‘One In A Million’. As the track is a special gift to their fans, it serves as a meaningful reminder everytime they sing it.

As soon as the question on their happiest moments were raised, Jihyo eagerly answered that travelling around the world meeting fans from different countries is easily the highlight for her so far as part of TWICE. Good news for those hoping they will return for another tour? *fingers crossed*

Continuing the press conference, they were asked on TWICE’s unique standpoint that makes them stand out from other groups. To Chaeyoung, she felt that their ability to be natural on stage is a prominent part of how they distinct themselves from others.

As the press conference drew to a close, the girls had some words for their fans who were waiting for them in Singapore. Something which they all have in common; they hoped that ONCEs will keep showing them love and support as they continually strive to be better for each and every upcoming comeback.

Despite the short press conference, the girls’ beaming smiles and cheerful aura certainly left a lasting impression. We sincerely hope that the girls would continue their rise in success and be showered with love from fans for many, many years to come!
