[SINGAPORE] The Indoor Stadium glows inTENSE-ly pink for Taeyeon’s concert

It’s been two years since Kim Taeyeon, leader of Girls’ Generation, last graced Singapore with a concert, so it’s no surprise that fans turned up in full force for TAEYEON CONCERT – The TENSE. Held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium over two nights on May 3–4, 2025, the show was nothing short of spectacular, and we’ve got the highlights.

From the moment the doors opened, the stadium glowed with a sea of pink lightsticks—each one ready to dance along in perfect sync with the lighting throughout the night. Excitement buzzed in the air, and the energy shot through the roof as Taeyeon made her grand entrance, opening with Fabulous from her fifth mini-album, To. X.

And yes, she was every bit as fabulous as the song promised. Decked out in a shimmering gown with a statement headdress that screamed “celestial queen,” Taeyeon glided up a moving staircase like a vision straight out of a dream—statuesque and radiant.

From there, she dipped into the emotional I—her solo debut single—followed by Letter to Myself, which tugged on every heartstring in the room. Then came her warm hello, telling fans to “have fun without any regrets!” (as if anyone needed permission!). The mood shifted again with a trio of gorgeous tracks: Blue Eyes, Make Me Love You, and Heaven.

The stage then transitioned as a VCR played: a surreal interlude in which Taeyeon portrayed an angel running a celestial laundry shop, cleaning the wings of fellow angels. But as the story unfolded, the more wings she cleaned, the more corrupted she became. By the end, the once-peaceful shop had transformed into a hellish realm. And the angel had turned into a devil.

Just like that, the concert shifted into darker territory. Taeyeon returned to the stage in bold black outfits, kicking off the next act with fiery performances of Hot Mess, Cold as Hell, and INVU. The B-stage came alive with swirling fabric, immersive projections, and a raised platform, turning songs into full-blown spectacles.

As the setlist rolled on with more tracks like My Tragedy, To. X, and What Do I Call You, Taeyeon took another moment to connect with her fans, shouting out to the international crowd and laughing about how she’s “not that tall” and how pink isn’t even her favourite colour. But, she added, “Whenever I perform, you all make me feel tall,” and said she now sees pink as a symbol of her fans’ love. Later in the show, tracks like Weekend, Baram X3, and Disaster kept spirits soaring. But it was Ending Credits that gave fans one of the night’s most touching moments. Armed with their pink finger lights (handed out before the show), the audience transformed the stadium into a twinkling galaxy of pink, lighting up the final chorus like a love letter to their star.

The final stretch brought more fan favourites, an adorable photo session, and of course, encore tracks Curtain Call and U R. Before saying goodbye, Taeyeon left fans with a heartfelt promise: “I’ll make sure to come back and see you again.”And honestly? We can’t wait. Thank you, iMe Singapore for the invite!
