[SINGAPORE] Samsung Officially Launches Galaxy Note 9 with Kim Jong Kook & Park Min Young

In lieu of the launch of the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Kim Jong Kook and Park Min Young were invited to the Samsung X Viu Fan Party last Friday. Kim Jong Kook, otherwise known as SpartaKook in the variety show “Running Man”, and Park Min Young, well known for her character as Secretary Kim Mi So in “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?”, paid fans a visit on Friday to liven up the atmosphere at the exclusive party. Without a doubt, fans and celebrities had the time of their lives at the special event.

A press conference was held with each star individually before the party, where we got to know more about Kim Jong Kook and Park Min Young, and also their upcoming plans!

Flawless and Glowing Park Min Young
Park Min Young stunned everyone when she appeared up on stage for the press conference. Her elegant and regal aura could be felt from a distance away, as her smile captured the attention of everyone at the venue. She revealed that her sister lives in Singapore, and that she was going to visit her sister the day after! Her favourite meal in Singapore has got to be… Chilli crab!

The actress resonates well with various aspects of her character in “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” because as a professional working woman, Kim Mi So usually has to keep a calm facade in front of people. Not only that but every once in a while, like Kim Mi So, she sometimes dreams of doing something different from what she’s currently doing.

On preparation for dramas, she said that she had to lose a lot of weight when she acted as Kim Mi So. Then again, whatever preparations she does before her respective dramas depends on the character she is going to play in the drama.

Due to the nature of her occupation, Park Min Young shared that she has to put on make-up for up to twenty-four hours usually, so her face tends to get dry most of the time. Every time she has a break, she tries to take off her make-up and put on a face mask. She usually uses a face mask about two to three times each day, which most likely accounts for her glowing skin!

Here Comes the Unstoppable Sparta Kim Jong Kook!
Exuding a warm and charming aura, the beloved Kim Jong Kook enters the stage with a wide and welcoming smile. The popular star shared his regime at the gym, saying that he is currently focusing on his legs and his back. When he was young, he focused more on his arms and muscles, so now he exercises more for his health than for the need to look good only! Everyone flew into a frenzy when Jong Kook demonstrated how he does his squats usually.

He encourages everyone to eat healthier food for their health, and not just for appearances. That is probably why eating junk food as punishment on Running Man is considered a punishment on Jong Kook’s end. However, on a cheat day, he is able to eat a whole chocolate or cream cake all by himself!

This year, Kim Jong Kook is planning to release an album and is keen on having his concert being held not only in Korea, but also other countries. Upon being asked who he would like to collaborate with in the future, he said that he would like to collaborate with young idols, especially BTS. He has met them during Running Man and found them really kind and respectful too!

Even with a busy schedule, Kim Jong Kook never fails to fit his workouts in between his schedules. He even went as far as to comment that working out is his life, which made everyone laugh. To him, being busy is just an excuse for others as there is always time to do work outs at home, and then go to the gym after his schedule for the day is done!

Both Park Min Young and Kim Jong Kook are of the opinion that the latest Note 9’s camera function is the most interesting feature of all. The phone allows users to take photos with a click of the Bluetooth stylus pen, which is something unheard of! They liked that they can place the phone further away to take a full group photo, and simply click the button on the stylus the moment everyone is ready!
