[SINGAPORE] NCT WISH show their ‘Ode To Love’ at First Public Fansign

Even the sweltering heat could not stop NCTZENs as they headed down to The Star Vista for NCT WISH’s first public fansign in Singapore. Following their ‘LOG in’ tour in 2024, this was the first time the six boys were greeting fans again. In commemoration of their first full-album ‘Ode To Love’, the Wishies (as what their fans affectionately call them) had a fansign with 50 lucky fans, followed by prop-time and a Q&A session.

The fansign started as the NCT WISH members greeted their adoring fans. In between signing albums, the boys made sure to look closely at everyone in the crowd, happily entertaining every fan request they saw. With fans watching them from level 1 to 3, they were extra attentive in looking around, showing equal love to every corner and striking cute poses that had everyone squealing.

A ‘Supercute’ Prop and Q&A Time

After the fansign concluded, the members posed with different props that the fans had given them. This seemed like the fan-favourite section, with fans leaning closer to get a glimpse of their biases holding adorable soft-toys and props. Ryo, who is part of the maknae line, delighted everyone with a Stitch Cape.

This was followed by a Q&A session, where each member answered two questions each.

Q: Do you prefer to eat outside or order room service?
Sion: I always order room service but if I could choose, I prefer to order and eat outside. I have a fond and happy memory of us eating Chilli Crab when we were here for our concert previously!

Birthday boy Yushi

Q: It’s your birthday today! What surprise did the members prepare for you?
Yushi: During the Bangkok concert yesterday, they gave me a cake on-stage. Personally, the members gave me presents too so I really really liked it!

Riku during the Q&A session

Q: What made you the happiest recently?
Riku: This was really recent but I was happy when we went swimming yesterday and it was more fun than I expected! I want to swim again if I have the chance to.

Jaehee during the Q&A session

Q: Was there a place in Singapore that left a deep impression on you?
Jaehee: Obviously, we had really happy and fun memories at our concert venue but I also remember the Merlion Park!

Ryo during the Q&A session

Q: What is one thing you wish from the member beside you?
Ryo: (laughs) I want Riku to do aegyo (cute poses) for our fans!

Q: If you could change your closet with a member for a month, who would you pick and why?
Sakuya: I would swap with Riku hyung! Actually, I have no interest in the other members’ fashion, so probably Riku hyung.
Sion: (jokingly) The other members also have no interest in your closet!

The day of the fansign, 5th April, also marked Yushi’s birthday, making the event extra special. Members Ryo and Riku went off stage temporarily, before surprising Yushi with a customised birthday cake and a hat.

“This is my third time they’re celebrating my birthday, but I am very grateful that I get to celebrate it so many times!” Yushi exclaimed, showing his gratitude for the members and the fans who shared this special day with him.

While the hour-long fansign session came to an end, NCT Wish promised to visit Singapore soon with a concert and thanked everyone for coming down. We are looking forward to having them back on our sunny shores soon!
