[SINGAPORE] NCT 127 Proves to be The Biggest Hit on the Stage to NCTzens

With a fanbase that is growing at a rapid pace, NCT 127 has become a force to be reckoned with as they continue to gain stardom for their various indelible hits that are listened to by fans all over the world. On 20 July 2019, the superstars landed in our little red dot for “NEO CITY: Singapore – The Origin”, which is also their last stop for the tour.

Making a strong first impression, NCT 127 opened the night with one of their biggest hits, “Cherry Bomb”. By taking their turns to dance in the center, each member was able to flaunt their clean-cut dance moves, owning the stage with their charisma and presence. Showing off their powerful and synchronized moves, the boys followed through with “Limitless” and “Chain”, while NCTzens thundered the stadium with their screams. 

A group that has versatility, there are many facets that make NCT 127 compelling, and their sensational vocals allured the hearts of their fans. Performing gentle and romantic hits such as “Fly Away with Me”, “Back 2 U”, “City 127” and “Jet Lag”, the group warmed the hearts of NCTzens, as they felt the boys’ tenderness through the love songs. As the vocal line consisting of Doyoung, Taeil and Jaehyun ended the intimate segment with “Timeless”, it is imperative for us to praise them – they literally possess voices of angels.

Taking a few minutes to greet Singapore NCTzens, several members of the group conversed with the crowd in English, with Mark being thankful that the group was able to perform their solo concert in Singapore. Johnny then led the fans to do a “wave” – NCTzens were more than happy to do it as their neon green lightsticks shined brightly in the crowd. 

As the show must go on NCT 127 brought back to the attention to them with their know-hows. Leading with the English version of “Regular” to start off a new and zealous segment, the group brought NCTzens to the highlight of the concert, as the fan chants rang throughout the stadium together as one. The bops don’t stop too, and the heat continued with hits that include “Touch”, “Simon Says” and “Fire Truck”. NCTzen’s infectious screams were caused by NCT 127’s fiery performances – we commend the boys for never losing their energy and giving their all throughout their performances. 

Ending the night with “Superhuman” and “Summer 127”, fans were mesmerized but forlorn due to the end that was looming ahead. Taeyong then tells the fans that the song, “0 Mile”, is incredibly apt as the last song of the night. He explains, “Don’t forget that the distance between you and us is 0 Mile”. With such reassuring words, it is indeed hard NOT to fall for the charms of NCT 127. Other members such as Haechan expressed his love for the other members: “All I want to say is how thankful I am to my members, my brothers, who are being so supportive”. The bond between the members of NCT 127 and NCTzens proved to be unbreakable, and the phenomenal concert will always hold a special and significant place in the hearts of NCTzens.
