[SINGAPORE] MXM Shares Each Other’s Unique Habits & Music Plans For The Future

Brand New Music duo MXM were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically by Singapore fans at the open press conference on May 3rd, held at Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut, a day before their fan meeting to be held at Zepp @ BIGBOX! Despite only just debuting in September last year, it is clear MXM’s popularity is increasing and that they are already receiving much love and recognition from fans around the world. Many Singapore fans were already at the venue in the wee hours of the morning, eager to secure a good viewing spot to see the idols.

The boys were all smiles and waves as they greeted the fans and media, and without further ado, they leaped right into the questions. Fans were definitely eager to find out more about Youngmin and Donghyun!

This being their first time in Singapore, Youngmin said he felt happy and honoured to be here, meeting all their Singaporean fans, and to pay back for all the support that had been given to them, they will continue putting their best foot forward in everything they do. Donghyun also mentioned that Singapore was one of the countries they’ve mentioned they really wanted to visit ever since their debut!

Having known each other a long time, Youngmin and Donghyun both shared an interesting habit about each other. Donghyun shared that Youngmin wakes up in different poses each day! Sometimes he would wake up seated down on the bed, at other times, he would wake up with one arm behind him. Youngmin shared that Donghyun once woke up at 6AM in the morning and ordered fried chicken! They also agreed unanimously that they would rate their chemistry with each other a strong 95.

What would they have been doing if they didn’t become artistes? It seems that for Donghyun, music would always be part of his life as he answered that he would probably be a university undergraduate studying music. Youngmin, on the other hand, stated that he has always had some interest in designing furniture, so he would probably be studying furniture design and perhaps making his own furniture if he didn’t become a K-pop artist. Since the press conference was held at Gain City, he good-naturedly agreed when the emcee DeeKosh joked that he could design furniture for Gain City!

Both MXM members are active in song writing and composing, so fans were curious about whether they would create their own title songs soon. Both members admitted that it would be fantastic and a dream come true if one of the songs they composed really became a title song, and they would try their best so that it could happen one day. Fans should definitely keep a lookout!

When asked if there were any other concepts they would like to try out, Youngmin answered that they would love to try something sexy and really hot for their upcoming project, to which the fans responded excitedly to as well.
