[SINGAPORE] Fans of Monsta X and SISTAR left Starstruck in Singapore

Starship Entertainment’s newest boy group Monsta X and representative girl group SISTAR held their first ever joint fan meeting on 5 December at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in Singapore. SISTAR was unfortunately in attendance without member Soyou, who was unable to make the trip due to an injury she sustained earlier this year. Get well soon, Soyou!

Before the fan meet started, classic vocal group UANGEL VOICE served as the opening act, performing ballad songs and OST tracks like ‘You Are My Destiny’ from hit drama, ‘You Who Came from the Stars’.

After their sensational performance, SISTAR (Hyorin, Bora, Dasom) kick started the fan meet with tracks from their latest mini album, ‘Shake It’ and ‘Don’t Be Such a Baby’. During their ment, maknae Dasom spoke in English and said that Singapore is one of her favourite countries to visit, so she was really happy to attend the fan meeting here! Keeping the energy high and the crowd going, SISTAR performed another hit song, ‘I Swear’, before passing the torch to company juniors and rookie boy group, Monsta X.

The crowd went crazy for the 7 charismatic boys dressed in black and white. Monsta X launched right into their performance of debut track, ‘Trespass’, before giving an energetic greeting to their fans. Leader Jooheon even showed off his beat-boxing skills as he introduced himself to the fans. This was then followed up with a lively rendition of the heart-fluttering ‘Perfect Girl’.

The spotlight was once again on the members of SISTAR as they amazed the crowd with songs like ‘Lead Me’, ‘Loving U’, ‘Crying’, and ‘Ma Boy’. In between, there was also a game segment where 3 lucky fans were brought up on stage to test their chemistry with their favourite idols in a game called ‘Telepathy’. The ultimate winner walked away with a pair of Skechers’ kicks, a selfie with SISTAR, and autographed items. How lucky!

After SISTAR performed their last song, ‘Touch My Body’, Monsta X was then brought back up on stage with one of their latest song, ‘Rush’. Thoughtful Monsta X had also prepared a special event for Singapore MONBEBEs, where they personally went down the stage to greet their fans. Just when we thought their fan service was coming to an end, the boys brought the crowd to fever pitch as they serenaded a fan with a sweet confession song, ‘Honestly’. Before they ended off with their follow-up track, ‘Hero’, Monsta X, together with 7 lucky fans, had a staring contest whereby the winner also walked away with a selfie and autographed album.

Lastly, selected fans had the chance to participate in a hi-touch and photo-taking session with Monsta X and SISTAR, which was definitely the icing on the cake after an incredible fan meeting event in Singapore.
