[SINGAPORE] Enjoying a Love Scenario with iKON by the Beach

The sun, sand and 7 boys from Korea were all it took for the crowd to get pumped up last Sunday. Returning to Singapore just barely after 2 months, iKON was the headliner act for the last day of the 10th edition of Skechers Sundown Festival. 

Even though iKON only performed for 30 minutes, it was more than enough for the fans who queued as early as 4 AM – that dedication paid off, as they were treated to an iconic performance! Kicking off the stage with the No. 1 hit of 2018, “Love Scenario”, iKON sent fans chanting along to the song. They continued to with “My Type”, which was released back in 2016. 

After performing, iKON greeted the excited fans and started their individual self-introduction in English. However, due to time constraint, the boys jumped right back in by making the stage shine with “Bling Bling” and pumping the crowd up with a rock version of “Rhythm Ta”.

Despite the heat from waiting so long, iKONICs were exhilarated and pumped up with the strong and bold performances that iKON delivered. Jay also commented on the heat and said that it was hot, to which Bobby suggested for him to take his shirt off and well, it sparked off fervent screams from the fans.

Speaking in perfect English, Donghyuk asked the fans to throw their hands up in the air, telling them to get ready to PARTY and to get CRAZY with their last two performances, “B-DAY” and “Dumb & Dumber”! To reward the fans who have been waiting for almost 15 hours, Jay jumped off the stage and ran to the fans along the barricades, before calling it a night. 

Though we are unsure as to when iKON will return to our sunny shores, we hope that the last weekend was memorable because it definitely was for us!
