It was a day full of anticipation on March 15th 2025 for both BOYNEXTDOOR and OneDoors as the group performed for the first time in Singapore. Following their successful sold-out concerts in Seoul and six cities in Japan, the boys brought the Knock On Volume 1 Tour to a crowd of adoring Singapore OneDoors.
Here were some highlights from the show that had us screaming, cheering, and even tearing up.

A performance like no other
Since their debut, BOYNEXTDOOR has made a name for themselves as a group of self-producing all rounders. Their music, which illustrate the aspirations and struggles of youth, had the crowd singing along in perfect harmony.
Starting with hits like Earth, Wind & Fire, Dangerous and But I Like You, the boys showed off their polished and sharp dance moves. Following their energetic, upbeat tunes, they took things slow with songs like Call Me and Crying. Leader Jaehyun took this moment to share that they chose to sing the original arrangements instead of remixes, allowing fans to enjoy the songs from their playlist in true colour.
Reflective of their strong commitment to delivering high-quality stages, BOYNEXTDOOR have also been using hand-microphones since their debut. During the bridge of But Sometimes, Sungho and Riwoo belted high notes with ease, fully delivering the emotions of a broken promise.
Truly the Boys Next Door in Singapore
True to their name, the boys truly exemplified why they’re the boys next door with their perfect knowledge of Singlish slang.
Maknae Woonhak cheekily put his knowledge to use during the first ment, sharing that he learned the word Shiok, which he compared to the Korean slang, 느좋 (Feeling good). Leehan had everyone going crazy as he asked fans “Have you makan?” and no one can forget when Jaehyun went “Ai Stead Mai” to the delight of the crowd. The boys also asked for food recommendations, calling out Singaporean classics like laksa and the good-old chilli crab.
One particularly touching moment was when Taesan proudly showed off his ‘I Love Singapore’ keychains during his final ment, sharing that he bought it from the convenience store the moment they landed.
A shared love for each other

As much as BOYNEXTDOOR surprised us with their perfect Singlish and power-packed stages, ONEDOORS truly impressed as the honorary 7th member of the group. Each song was sung in perfect harmony, along with fanchants that echoed through the whole venue. The boys reciprocated this energy well, often breaking into song in the middle of their ments and turning it into a spontaneous karaoke session exclusively for their fans.
Near the end of the concert, the fans prepared a present for the boys with a special video. Filled with letters of appreciation and even hand-drawn pictures, Jaehyun teared up as he expressed his gratitude. “We’ve been working so hard the past few months, and your support gives us so much strength.” He said through tears, as his fellow members surrounded him in comfort.
It was a touching ending as fans waved their lightsticks in unison for the final song So let’s go see the stars. With the promise of coming back to Singapore soon with a new album, the boys took time to walk around the stage and soak in the moment. As the song’s lyrics go, “With you, late nights are full of starlight”, the shining lights on March 15th was undoubtedly a unforgettable memory for everyone. Even as the stage lights dimmed, the crowd shouted “encore” in unison. The boys took the stage one last time with their latest song If I Say, I Love You, ending the concert on its joyful yet sentimental beats.
A ‘One and Only’ Experience
Knock On Vol 1 was a genuine testament to BOYNEXTDOOR’s talent, love for music and their bond with ONEDOORS. Even though their first show in Singapore has drawn to an end, this marks the start of many more special memories to come and we’re already looking forward for the boys to be back.
