[SINGAPORE] A Starry Night in Singapore For MAMAMOO and MooMoos 

Fans of MAMAMOO were treated to show-stopping performances over a course of two days. The four-piece South Korean girl group was in town last week for the Singapore leg of their world tour titled MAMAMOO WORLD TOUR [MY CON]. 

The concert started off with 1, 2, 3, Eoi! followed by two medleys consisting of Um Oh Ah Yeh, Freakin Shoes, NEWYORK, Dingga and then Emotion, Funky Boy and You’re the Best. MAMAMOO said that they chose to condense these songs into medleys as they wanted to be able to fit as many songs as they could for this concert. They then continued serving powerful vocals and fun stages with AYA, ILLELLA, Taller than You and mumumumuch. 

The previous time the group was in Singapore was in 2019, and Singapore MooMoos certainly let MAMAMOO know they were missed as they sang along and cheered to every single song. 

One of the best parts of this concert was how MAMAMOO switched things up by performing each other’s solo tracks instead of having each member perform their own songs. Solar started off by putting her own take on Wheein’s watercolor, while Hwasa showed off her version of Moonbyul’s Eclipse. Wheein was up next, donning Solar’s iconic bright yellow HONEY outfit followed by Moonbyul’s cover of Hwasa’s TWIT. 

For the rest of the two-and-a-half-long concert, MAMAMOO filled the stage with their charismatic presence, witty humour and powerful vocals as they delivered some of their greatest hits such as gogobebe, HIP, Egotistic, Décalcomanie and Starry Night. The crowd certainly pulled their weight too, with the entire auditorium at The Star Theatre singing along loudly and swaying their lightsticks. 

As the first night of their Singapore concert drew to a close, MAMAMOO sincerely thanked their Singaporean MooMoos for all their support. 

“We’ve had good memories in Singapore previously, and after tonight, we’re sure we’ll have even better memories,” Moonbyul said. 

MAMAMOO then went in with an encore segment consisting of Travel, Universe, Yes I Am and L.I.E.C, before ending the night strongly with another round of Um Oh Ah Yeh and bringing things back to full circle. Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa definitely gave the crowd a thoroughly enjoyable night full of catchy tunes and exciting performances.
