[SINGAPORE] A Day With BTOB Yook Sungjae At Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Meet & Greet Session

Yook Sung Jae of BTOB met fans on a hot and sunny afternoon on September 22nd at Bugis Junction as part of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 event in Singapore. Aside from being a talented singer, Sungjae is also an amazing actor, as seen from his recent roles as Gong Tae Kwang in ‘Who Are You: School 2015′ and the enigmatic Yoo Deok Hwa in ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God’. Throughout the event, Sungjae delighted everyone at the venue with his charm and wit. His cute interactions with fans made everyone enjoy every minute of the time spent with the multi-talented idol.

Welcoming Fans with a Beaming Smile which Rivals the Sun
Sungjae was all smiles from the moment he stepped onto the stage, shyly greeting the fans hello. He had a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 tucked neatly into the breast pocket of his coat. When asked about how he manages to look great in his photos every time, he said that he tries to take a couple of photos from different angles before choosing the best one to upload. He also divulged that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, every photo turns out great!

Upon asking who he would like to collaborate with musically, he replied, “So I have been really into R&B and EDM recently. I’ve looked up a lot of Singaporean singers, and since I’ve always been here, I’ve wanted to work with singers like Gentle Bones!”. The crowd erupted into cheers, showing their enthusiasm at the unexpected love call.

“I can’t open my eyes because you guys shine like the weather!”, a cheeky Sungjae confessed to his fans, making everyone laugh. And guess what? He also sang “Confession”, which had Melodies melting in their spots. Sungjae’s clear and beautiful voice echoed throughout the venue, capturing the attention of passers-by as well.

Lucky Fans get to Interact with Sungjae Personally
Five lucky fans were invited up on the stage after the talk segment. They all had to do whatever was stated on the piece of paper they had drawn out from a box. The first fan received a wake-up call from Sungjae, while the second fan got to take a selfie with him! The third fan received a wake-up call too, in the form of a short clip of Sungjae singing. Imagine waking up to his voice every morning! Everyone laughed when they heard his voice breaking a little at the end of the recording, which made Sungjae hide his face in his arm.

The next fan received a personal ringtone from Sungjae! He sang beautifully for the lucky fan, who was overjoyed to have received such a gift. Last but not least, the fifth fan was fed a pocky stick by Sungjae. Squeals were heard as Sungjae fed the embarrassed fan the biscuit stick. He called her a baby after she revealed her age, which had fans laughing.

Get a Limited Edition Samsung Galaxy Note9
A table and chair were brought up onto the stage after the fun session with fans, so that Sungjae could comfortably sign twenty boxes of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phones. These limited edition phones are available only at Bugis Junction’s Samsung store. If you’re thinking of changing to a new phone, hurry down now and grab one of these babies as soon as you can!

Afterwards, a few groups of lucky fans were invited up on the stage to take group photos with Sungjae. They were all happy and excited to share the frame with the BTOB member! Sungjae received a cute and well-drawn caricature of himself, as well as the brand new Note 9 as a token of appreciation. He looked really humbled and honoured to have received the gifts!

However, shortly after, he had to bid everyone goodbye. His fans were sad and wanted him to stay for a little while longer but it seemed like he had a flight to catch!
