Yesung, member of the legendary boy group Super Junior, graced the vibrant city of Manila last January 6, 2024 for his solo concert titled Unfading Sense. The atmosphere was electric as the talented artist captivated hearts and left an indelible mark on the passionate Filipino ELFs at the New Frontier Theater.
Yesung, whose real name is Kim Jong Woon, is no stranger to the global stage. As a seasoned performer, he has been enthralling audiences with his soulful vocals and magnetic stage presence. As one of the pioneering K-Pop groups, Super Junior has amassed an international following, and Yesung’s solo ventures have only added to his popularity.
Commencing his performance with a live band, Yesung kicked off the show with Scented Things, leading seamlessly into Fornever and Silhouette – three tracks featured in his latest album.
In addition, he delivered renditions of No More Love, Butterfly, Moment, Floral Sense, Beautiful, 4 Seasons, Like Us, Ho, and the iconic It Has To Be You.
After performing a few more of his songs, he mentioned that whenever he sings Corazon Perdido, he sincerely wishes that he chose this as his title song.
During the concert, a video curated by Filipino fans was featured, capturing fans holding Yesung’s photos in various locations around the Philippines.
Yesung’s connection with the Filipino fans was evident throughout the concert. He engaged with the audience, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support and admiration not just for him as a soloist, but for supporting Super Junior as well. This concert has created an unforgettable experience, solidifying the bond between Yesung and his Filipino fans.
Yesung wrapped up the night with the performances of his songs, Together and I am. With the resounding cheers in the New Frontier Theater, it is unmistakable that Yesung had left a lasting impression on Filipino ELFs, creating unforgettable memories for the artist and his devoted fans.
