[PHILIPPINES] Yerin Holds ‘ARIA’ Fansign in Manila

After almost three years, Jung Yerin was finally back in Manila for her first fansign event for her debut solo EP, Aria. Held last July 22 at Gateway Cineplex 5, Yerin greeted everyone with a jolly “Kumusta (how are you?)”, much to the delight of Buddies.

Fans were eager to meet and talk to Yerin, gifting her with letters, memorabilia, and cute accessories. Most notably, she was given several canned San Miguel Beers — an ode to a surprise VLIVE when Yerin casually drank beer while chatting with fans. Several lucky fans also had the chance to take photos with Yerin.

After the fansign, fans prepared a special video for Yerin, highlighting her humble beginnings with GFRIEND until her journey as a solo artist. The sentimental video left both fans and Yerin in tears. She expressed that she was also teary-eyed but she did her best to hold back the tears.

The fansign wrapped up with Yerin showing her gratitude to fans, promising to come back to Manila to meet everyone again. For the last segment, fans happily waved goodbye to Yerin as they exited the cinema one by one.
