Mix charisma with cuteness and talent and you’ll get VICTON. Falling into something deep as their dimples, Filipino Alices had the honor of being the last stop of the group’s ‘Voice To Alice’ Asian Fanmeeting Tour before they headed back to Korea for a full concert.
Seungsik, Chan, Sejun, Hanse, Byungchan, and Subin did not disappoint as they performed and connected with a crowd that filled the SM North EDSA Skydome. After an intense opening VCR that gave everyone an adrenaline rush, the members appeared on-stage wearing their preppy blue and white ensemble and hyped everyone up with ‘What Time Is It Now?’
Chan didn’t fail to acknowledge the packed venue for the night. “It’s our first time in Manila and there’s so many of you so I’m really happy,” he cheerfully said.
With a mini-interview with the host, they expressed their feelings with different moments they experienced this 2019. One particular moment was getting their first-ever music show win. With this, the members – being their goofy selves – immediately started teasing Chan’s teary moment during that day. Seungsik also gave the crowd a 100% grade for being so responsive and energetic.
When the members were asked where they wanted to go in the Philippines, they answered Boracay. As the country is filled with unlimited vacation spots, the host went on ahead and suggested Palawan and Bacolod. They then showed never before seen photos before moving on to the next segment. This was definitely a way for Alice to get to know their boys more!
Then it was time to tone things down. VICTON remained seated as they showcased their beautiful vocals for ‘Farewell’.
VICTON was really full of surprises as they went back on-stage with more powerful outfits. Sporting maroon and black suits, they made the entire venue hot by performing a cover of Kehlani’s ‘Gangsta’. It was definitely something that their Alices have been looking forward to. They also had the chance to see the live performance for the group’s b-side track ‘New World’.
It’s game time! The boys grouped themselves and competed against each other in a friendly competition. Seungsik, Sejun, and Subin became Team Pabebe while Hanse, Chan, and Byungchan called themselves Team Manila. All they needed to do was dance the songs playing in their in-ears and try to make the crowd guess what song it is. In the end, Team Manila won. This earned Team Pabebe of the penalty of doing a runway walk that ended with a sexy dance.

But a plot twist happened as everyone also chanted for Team Manila to do the punishment. Of course, being the sport that they are, Alice did not fail in making the three do so. Byungchan said that he felt like they also lost. This is when Seungsik said that he thinks that Manila has been their best fan-meeting so far. Great job PH Alices!
VICTON said they hope to come back to Manila next time for a full concert. The crowd cheered on the boys and Chan expressed his amazement with everyone’s undying energy and said the stop was really the best. It was time for Alices to showcase their fan-chanting powers while the boys performed ‘Nostalgic Night’ and ‘Time Of Sorrow’.
For the encore stage, the members came out with heavenly white outfits and interacted more with the fans while singing ‘Because Of You’. They hoped for everyone’s good health and thanked Filipino Alices for unforgettable memories. Everyone, make sure to start saving up as they said that they will definitely come back to Manila!
The fanmeeting ended with the heartwarming melody and lyrics of ‘Light’.
The members showered us with love and affection that definitely took us away from the harsh realities of life. We hope that VICTON will walk on a path that goes on beyond the flowery surface, but also into the light of the wonderland with every Alice.
We would like to thank PEEP Events and Production / Istudyo ni Pipay for extending us a media invite for this event. Until the next one!
