[PHILIPPINES] Up Close and Personal with Lee Sung Kyoung at Her ‘Be Closer’ Fan Meeting in Manila

Actress, model, and singer Lee Sung Kyoung successfully wrapped up her solo fan meeting in the Philippines last July 8, 2023 at the SM North EDSA Sky Dome as part of her 2023 tour, Be Closer.

Lee Sung Kyoung debuted as a model and she played several supporting roles in hit dramas like It’s Okay, That’s Love and Cheese in the Trap. She gained more attention with her first lead role and hit series, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo. Lee Sung also starred in the hit drama, Dr. Romantic, which just finished its third season. The actress joined the TV series in 2020 as Cha Eun-jae. Aside from the series mentioned above, she also starred in About Time with Lee Sang-yoon and Sh**ting Stars with Kim Young-dae.

It was a fun night that not only made the actress happy but especially her fans! She sang songs including IU’s Hold My Hand and Reflection from Disney‘s Mulan. She even danced to Destiny Rogers’ Tomboy,  IVE’s After Like, and Le Serrafim’s Unforigiven.

In the different segments, the crowd got to know Lee Sung Kyoung a bit more! She shared that she wanted to try Filipino food and desserts like sisig and mango float. In addition to this, lucky fans who were chosen got to play with Lee Sung Kyoung on stage! The winning team scored signed postcards as their prizes.

As the fanmeeting was coming to an end, the actress sang and danced to a few songs like New Jeans’ Hybe Boy, that was requested by the fans. She also mentioned that she will be going to different restaurants to try different Filipino dishes.

We’re sure that the Filipino K-Drama fans who attended the fan meeting enjoyed every second of it! Are you all missing the “Queen of Swag” already?
