[PHILIPPINES] Stepping Into the Minhoverse: A Dream Night with Lee Min Ho

When Lee Min Ho promised to bring the Minhoverse to Manila, he meant it — and last night, he delivered one of the most unforgettable shows for his fans, the Minoz. It wasn’t just a fan meeting; it felt like stepping into a whole new world where laughter, music, and precious memories filled every corner of the venue.

The moment the lights dimmed, Minho appeared on stage singing I Love You (Saranghae), and just like that, the night officially belonged to him and his Minoz. His voice, calm and sincere, set the perfect mood — and you could already feel the love pouring out from the crowd.

After his opening performance, Minho sat down for a quick Q&A session. When asked when he feels the cutest, he shyly shared that it’s in the small, ordinary moments — making him even more endearing to everyone watching.

As for which character resembles him most in real life, he said every character he played carries a little bit of who he is. (It’s safe to say we all nodded along, thinking how true that feels.) Then came a real treat — he performed Without You, a song he hadn’t sung live in five years. Hearing it again live after so long made the moment even more special.

In the Masterclass segment, Minho turned the spotlight on Minoz and asked what they wanted to see from him. The loud answer? A strong character like Gu Jun Pyo from Boys Over Flowers! (Some things just never change.)

When asked if any of his characters would be a dealbreaker if he were a girl, he smiled and said none — because, for him, all his characters are sincere. As for who he’s most similar to, Minho picked Kim Tan from The Heirs, explaining that like Kim Tan, he sees himself as someone who stays balanced. He also shared a behind-the-scenes moment, revealing that kissing scenes don’t really have strict directions. He just goes with the flow to keep things natural (cue the squeals from the Minoz!).

Minho kept the crowd buzzing with his performance of Stalker, then shifted gears into a more playful vibe. Things kicked off with the Minoverse Team Challenge, setting the tone for a fun-filled night. The real laughs came during the Legendary Ending Scene World Cup, where Minho had to choose between some of the most iconic K-drama endings. First up was Gu Jun Pyo from Boys Over Flowers versus Kim Tan from The Heirs — and Kim Tan came out on top. Then it was Heo Joon Jae from The Legend of the Blue Sea versus Gong Ryong from When the Stars GossipGong Ryong won that round. Finally, it was down to Kim Tan and Gong Ryong, and Kim Tan took the crown once again!

Each choice made the Minoz scream louder, but nothing beat the moment when Minho asked, “How do you say ‘Gonna go home with me’ in Tagalog?” When he proudly said “Uwi tayo sa bahay ko,” the screams were deafening — every Minoz in the room instantly melted. The games didn’t stop there.

During the Level Up Mini Game, two lucky Minoz were picked to play Tumbang Preso with Minho. Both fans knocked down one can each, but for Minho to win, he had to hit two — and of course, he did, bringing huge smiles all around. Afterward, he teamed up with another lucky fan for a balloon-popping challenge, managing to pop around four to five balloons while everyone cheered them on like crazy.

After all the fun and laughter, Minho shifted the mood with a heartfelt performance of Be My Last Love. As if the emotions weren’t enough, a surprise VTR from Minoz played right after, filled with messages, memories, and so much love that it brought tears to many eyes.

To close the night, Minho sang Always and Goodnight, Good Dreams, leaving a beautiful, bittersweet feeling in the air — the kind you get when you know you’ve just lived through something truly special.

If there’s one thing that stood out the whole night, it was Minho’s precious, genuine smiles. Every laugh, every shy glance, every time he grinned while interacting with Minoz — it felt like little gifts he was giving straight from his heart. Minhoverse in Manila wasn’t just a fan meeting. It was a universe where for one magical night, Lee Min Ho and his Minoz existed together — and no one will ever forget it.
