PH Melodies were once again serenaded as Lee Changsub of BTOB took center stage, kicking off his Asia Tour with The Wayfarer in Manila at The Skydome on March 22, 2025. With his irresistible charisma and exceptional vocals, Changsub delivered a breathtaking performance that left fans in awe.

The night opened with Chivalry, a powerful track that showcased his refined artistry and commanding stage presence. This was followed by Golden Hour, with Changsub’s soaring vocals captivating the crowd. Greeting his Filipino fans with a charming, “Philippine! Kamusta kayo? Ako ay Changsub Lee,” (Philippines! How are you? I am Changsub Lee), he instantly melted hearts. The crowd giggled at his adorable attempt at speaking Filipino, adding to the concert’s intimate and endearing atmosphere.

The setlist felt like a well-curated journey through Changsub’s musical evolution. His dynamic performances of Chivalry and Golden Hour highlighted his impressive range and vocal power. But it wasn’t just about high-energy hits—Changsub slowed things down with emotional renditions of Saturday Night, Stay, and Old Town, bringing the crowd to a hushed admiration. His heartfelt delivery left many fans teary-eyed, hanging on to every note.

Throughout the night, Changsub’s genuine appreciation for his supporters was evident. He serenaded PH Melodies with Only Then and Refugee, filling the venue with his soothing vocals. The audience swayed along, visibly moved by the raw emotion in his performance.

Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without Changsub’s electrifying performance of Bumpbump. The crowd erupted as he revisited the party-electrohouse track, which had been heavily requested by fans. As chants of “Isa pa! Isa pa!” (One more! One more!) filled the venue, Changsub, with a playful grin, remarked, “Filipinos really know how to party,” earning an even louder roar of excitement.

As the concert drew to a close, emotions ran high. For the encore, Changsub delivered a heartfelt send-off with 33, Macchiato, and Run from his first album, 1991. His final message was filled with warmth and sincerity, reassuring fans that he would return to the Philippines. “Please always stay healthy and safe,” he reminded them, his voice filled with affection.

Even after the lights dimmed and the stage was cleared, Changsub’s warmth lingered. He later posted a touching message on his X account in Filipino, expressing his gratitude: “Overflowing with love.ᐟ.ᐟ (´。• ᵕ •。` ) * 。゚ Philippine zz6chin, Melody and Changsub’s beautiful harmony.
