[PHILIPPINES] Kim Seon Ho Shows His ‘Color+Full’ Personality in Manila Fan Meet

South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho once again graced Manila with his presence for his Color+Full Asia Fan Meeting Tour, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last April 13, 2024.

Hosted by TV personality Ryan Bang, the fan meeting was a spectacular affair filled with heartfelt performances, insightful interviews, and fun games.

Fondly nicknamed “Good Boy” by his fans (known as Seonhohadas), Kim Seon Ho started the fan meeting with a song titled Miracle. The actor shared he specifically prepared it for the tour, and that he even participated in writing the lyrics.

Seon Ho also recounted the last time he visited the Philippines, which was for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards last December at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

MC Ryan Bang quipped, “AAA kita last nakita. Four months lang, lalo siya gumwapo. (The last time I saw you was in AAA. In just four months, you’ve become even more handsome).”

When asked about the inspiration behind the name of his tour, Seon Ho replied: “There are various colours in the world. Just like those, I would like to share with you my various colours.”

Although Kim Seon Ho has been active as an actor since 2009 (first in theatre before branching out into television and film), the fan meeting proved that there are still new things that Seonhohadas could learn about their “Good Boy”.

For instance, Seon Ho explained that the two syllables of his given name mean “generous” and “courageous”, respectively. The actor added that he doesn’t have an English name, but if the fans could give him one, he’ll gladly use it forever.

There was also a VCR of Seon Ho having his colour analysis done, and the results revealed that he has a summer cool tone.

The fan meeting was made even more colourful with the enjoyable games that Kim Seon Ho played with lucky fans.

The first game was a relay drawing quiz where Seon Ho, together with two other fans, had to take turns in drawing from a word prompt while a third fan tried to guess what they had drawn.

After the game, the actor joked, “I used to dream of being a painter, but it seems that my drawing skills are stuck in that moment of time.”

Seon Ho also put his Tagalog pronunciation skills to the test with some tongue twisters, and even played the traditional Filipino street game Sipa (literally translates to “kick”; similarly played like the Korean game Jegichagi).

Another fun part of the fan meeting was the Hochelin Restaurant segment where Kim Seon Ho demonstrated how to cook Korean fried chicken and fried rice using UFC-branded ingredients.

Five lucky fans were selected to try the dishes that the actor had cooked. One fan even flexed their language skills by greeting the actor and praising the food in Korean.

As the fan meeting came to a close, Seonhohadas surprised Kim Seon Ho with a VCR filled with their dedications and well wishes for the actor.

Fans also sang happy birthday for Seon Ho, who will be turning 38 in May 8.

The actor tearfully thanked his Seonhohadas for the fan projects they had prepared, promising that he will keep the memories in his heart until his return to Korea. “Mahal ko kayo. Salamat po! (I love you all. Thank you!)” he said.

To cap off the wonderful night, Seon Ho sang Reason, his first-ever single released in 2021 and produced by Epitone Project.
