The rainy weather couldn’t stop Filipino K-pop fans from seeing Hyolyn perform live as she headlines the Sound Arena on the second day of ToyCon Poplife FanXperience on June 9, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City!
Hyolyn is best-known as the former leader and member of girl group SISTAR and its sub-unit SISTAR19. She is now promoting as a solo artist under the management of her own production company, Bridʒ.
Hyolyn was all smiles the moment she stepped on stage and so was the crowd as she kicked off her set with ‘Blue Moon’. The audience got even louder when she performed her rendition of fan favorites ‘Ma Boy’, ‘Touch My Body’, and ‘Shake It’, much to the delight of SISTAR fans!
She then toned down the mood a bit and reminded us of her vocal prowess with ‘Hello, Goodbye’, which she originally sung for the OST of the hit 2013 K-drama, ‘My Love From The Star’. After a quick break for a costume change, Hyolyn returned to the stage to end the night on a high note with a sizzling hot performance of ‘Dally’.
Prior to Hyolyn’s set, the Sound Arena stage was also graced by the performances of Janice Javier from The Voice Philippines and apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas to entertain fans.
ToyCon is Asia’s biggest and longest-running convention for toys and collectibles, cosplay, comics, gaming, and digital entertainment. It attracts 30,000 visitors annually from all over the Philippines and even from its Asian neighbors.
It truly was an amazing event and The Seoul Story would like to express our thanks to ToyCon PH for allowing us to be a part of it! For more HD photos of Hyolyn from the event, check out our Facebook page! 🙂
