Korean actress Han So-hee, best known for her roles in Nevertheless, My Name, and Gyeongseong Creature, finally met her Filipino fans up close during her ‘Xohee Loved Ones’ fan meeting in Manila last September 13. She flew straight from Canada to Manila for the event and personally chose its title, which she described as her “return gift” to Sosamos, her fandom name, who have loved and supported her through every project.
The evening kicked off with “Xohee’s Awards,” a playful segment where both fans and So-hee picked their favorite characters. Fans voted for Yoo Nabi from Nevertheless and Yoon Ji-woo from My Name. With a thoughtful smile, So-hee chose Lee Eun-soo, a role she treasures for allowing her to embody a lyricist. When asked which character she wouldn’t want as a travel companion, she teased Yoon Chae-ok, sparking laughter from the crowd.
When fans asked what kind of role she wanted to try next, they suggested either a doctor or a psychopath. So-hee surprised many by choosing the latter. “There’s a mix of emotional factors but also a charm to this character. I think I’m gonna do it well,” she said with confidence, earning loud cheers from the audience.

The atmosphere grew more personal in the Fan Art by Xohee segment. So-hee admired artworks lovingly crafted by her fans, from a playful sketch of her signing an autograph with a pen in her mouth to a boxing-inspired drawing. Beaming with delight, she revealed how much it meant to her since she also loves to draw and often shares her own art on Instagram. She even searched for the artists in the audience, greeted them warmly, and personally thanked them for their creations.
One of the most heartfelt highlights followed: So-hee premiered a self-made short film carrying the poignant line, “The fact that you’ve always been by my side, always at the same place… now when I hear your voice, I’ll find it.” Through it, she revealed her artistic side beyond acting, showing herself as a storyteller unafraid to bare her emotions.
Just when fans thought the surprises were over, So-hee lit up the stage with performances of Jennie’s Seoul City and AESPA’s Whiplash. She admitted she would love to try dancing to Like Jennie if given the chance again, a confession that drew playful screams and cheers from the crowd.
Fans also learned more about Han So-hee’s offscreen life: she prefers texting over calling, binges shows like her most recent watch Emma instead of following them weekly, and is currently into a lot of K-pop. A self-confessed night owl and team player, she admits she isn’t the best at multitasking. She even braves horror films alone, with The Shining as her all-time favorite.
The fun continued with games, including a drawing contest where two teams of Sosamos ended in a 7–7 tie. The match culminated in a rock-paper-scissors showdown, with the entire audience roaring in laughter.
The night closed on an emotional note. As a fan-made video played, So-hee grew teary-eyed, unable to hold back her emotions. In that moment, the actress who had captivated audiences with strength, charm, and artistry revealed her most vulnerable side.
That night in Manila, Han So-hee wasn’t just a star on stage. She shone as a grateful artist, a playful friend, and someone deeply moved by the love surrounding her.
