[PHILIPPINES] CRAVITY Creates a ‘MASTERPIECE’ With LUVITYs at First Concert in Manila

Filipino LUVITYs proudly waved their Remembongs for the very first time during the 2023 CRAVITY The 1st World Tour – MASTERPIECE, held at the New Frontier Theater last August 5, 2023!

The nine-member K-pop group, consisting of Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin, delivered powerful performances such as JUMPER, Groovy, and Bad Habits, marking their debut on the Philippine stage.

The entire venue was filled with screams and cheers as the global idols stepped onto the stage in suits and silver jewelry. They kicked off their set with Get Lifted, Baddie, and My Turn. To maintain the energetic atmosphere, the boys even incorporated Filipino phrases they had learnt for their Filipino LUVITYs during their first talking segment!

Manila served as the second-to-last stop on the group’s world tour, which commenced with a concert in Seoul last May. Aptly named MASTERPIECE, the concert’s concept embodies the idea of ‘the moment when scattered pieces come together to form a perfect work’. It also metaphorically alludes to their fans, LUVITYs, as the ‘final puzzle piece’ completing the group’s perfect work.

With a goal to infuse the stage with unwavering passion, the members presented more of their hit songs, which included a mix of refreshing and energetic tracks like VENI VIDI VICI, FLIP THE FLAME, Gas Pedal, and FLY.

The boys also showcased their newly acquired knowledge from Manila, including Filipino local slang like beshy (bestie), and even danced to SB19’s Gento as per fans’ requests. They also shared their experience of trying Jollibee and expressed their interest in trying halo-halo (a Filipino shaved ice dessert) in the future!

During the group photo session, Filipino LUVITYs surprised Seongmin with a cake, balloons, and headbands to celebrate his birthday. Seongmin conveyed his gratitude for being able to share his birthday celebration with both the members and their fans.

“Thanks to our dedicated LUVITYs who exhibited high energy from beginning to end, we were able to place the final puzzle piece of the Masterpiece concert,” Serim remarked. Minhee expressed their eagerness to return, even though this was only their initial visit to the country.

The CRAVITY members promised to return with more exhilarating performances. Throughout the entirety of the concert, all the members ensured that their cherished Filipino LUVITYs would forever remember that unforgettable night!
