[MALAYSIA] WINNER Proves They Are One In A Million At ‘CROSS’ Tour in KL

Regardless if you’re part of Inner Circle or not, you totally need to witness WINNER’s concert at least once in your lifetime. Watching their live performances in person will make you realize how talented they are and you will surely get what you paid for. As part of the tour leg, WINNER attracted thousands of fans to their ‘CROSS’ Tour in Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur.

‘CROSS‘ Tour displayed uncountable spectacular and memorable moments throughout the night. Here’s a look at what happened during the concert!

This is WINNER

Proving themselves as established artists, WINNER included diverse sets of songs in their CROSS Tour Concert set list. Opening the show with ‘Everyday‘ and ‘Love Me Love Me‘, WINNER appeared on stage with the welcoming chants from the crowd. WINNER also included their crowd-pleasers ‘Really Really‘ and ‘Island‘ to get the mood lifted.

Under the bright lights, WINNER looked absolutely stunning performing ‘MOLA‘ and ‘Dress Up‘. Changing the mood with the slow tempo numbers, they showcased their emotional vocals with ‘Different‘, ‘Have a Good Day‘ and ‘Raining‘.

Witnessing the interaction between WINNER and INNER CIRCLE, no one can stop admiring the affection they have for each other. WINNER also performed ‘OMG‘ together with their backup dancers in matching outfits, followed by their debut track, ‘EMPTY‘. Hoony looked sincerely at the audience, treasuring every moment.

Together, they make a great team

The epic rendition of this concert is completed with the live band accompanying WINNER with their fantastic play. Aside from group performances, WINNER established themselves as solo performers with each member showing their own charm with ‘Flamenco‘, ‘Call Anytime‘, ‘Wind‘ and ‘Fiance‘. Their coolness is really unbeatable!

Yoon also revealed why he arrived to Malaysia a day earlier than the rest of the group. He said he met up with a friend who has worked as his manager 10 years ago.

Mino hyped up the crowd with his solo songs, ‘I’m Him‘ and ‘Trigger‘ proving that he is a skilled performer when it comes to boosting the crowd’s energy.

The show continued with the sing-along track ‘Movie Star‘, before their latest title track from the ‘CROSS’ album, ‘SOSO‘ and ‘Don’t be Shy‘.

WINNER’s effort to communicate with the crowd in Malay should be praised, too! Yoon also jokingly mentioned that INNER CIRCLEs understand Korean better than English and Malay after several attempts of trying.

Drop the beat!

Is this Show Me The Money? WINNER created another hilarious episode of the night with some rap.

But wait! It’s not just your regular rap but the autotune rap! The audience was amazed and cheered when Yoon mentioned they would rap in Malay. Fans burst out laughing when it turned out to be autotuned. Taking advantage of the autotune microphone, the quartet took turns rapping to their hilarious lyrics following the beat. Whoever wrote the lyrics deserves a raise!

WINNER got into their playful character having fun with the autotune microphone and gesturing to fans to stand up for the next stage with ‘Millions‘, ‘Ah Yeah‘, ‘Immature‘ and ‘LALA‘.

The heat continued with an encore performance of ‘Hello‘ and ‘Zoo‘.

A Picture Perfect Birthday

Yoon‘s surprise birthday celebration was the highlight of the night! Both his members and INNER CIRCLE sang a birthday song to Yoon in English and Malay. His eyes glistened with gratitude and the surprise doubled with the cake prepared by fans.

It was also adorable to see Mino receiving sunflowers from fans during ‘Really Really‘. Sunflowers are his favourite kind of flowers!

WINNER kept up the powerful energy for the last song, ‘Everyday (REMIX)‘ by splashing water towards the audience. They expressed their gratitude and also reassured the fans that they will be back soon. Isn’t that great news?

‘Cross’ Tour opened and ended with the melodious ‘Everyday‘ and once again, WINNER outdid themselves with a splendid show. We truly hope Malaysian INNER CIRCLEs will get another chance to see their forever champion WINNER performing in Malaysia again!
